Alden Valley Shepherd's Hut at Cronkshaw Fold Farm

SammyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed our time on the farm. It was a shame we couldn’t stay longer but we were so pleased with the late check out, thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and loved our little hut. Thank you to Dot and her team for being so welcoming and for a great trip for my birthday. Only downside is that we never got to meet the infamous Tommy cat 🙈 Thank you again and we will definitely be back xx

Lovely little cottage which was spotless and had everything we needed. Angela was very responsive and helped out quickly with my questions. CateRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely spot to relax and rewind! We booked this last minute as we both had time off together. We hung out in Ramsbottom before (Eagle & Child is a great pub) then jumped in a Uber pet to the farm. Dot already sent so much helpful info for check in we were easily in the Yurt in no time. The Yurt was so cute & cosy. We spent the night drinking wine and playing cards by the fire. We’d love to stay again thanks for a lovely night away 🫶🏻

We loved the log burner and the easy access to all the things we needed. I would definitely check in again. We want to try the Shepard hut next

What a find ! A great place to stay in a quiet location near the woods which was great for our dog. The accommodation was spotless and had everything we need for our short break. The welcome pack was a bonus with information on things to do and places to eat which is great especially when you have a dog with you,The Alma inn had the best food! Jill is such a lovely welcoming host( but never intrudes ) and was quick to respond to any queries we had. We would definitely recommend a visit and will return someday.

I cannot say enough good things about Nina’s place. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and the surrounding areas and garden is stunning. Nina as a host was amazing and we couldn’t have asked for better hospitality or communication. check in and check out was so easy, and the fact that Nina told us that we could check out at our leisure on Sunday meant we could have one last slow and chilled family morning together, we we couldn’t of appreciated it more! My mum had the best time staying at the cottage with our family for her 60th and we said numerous times over the weekend that we would love to come back. Thank you Nina!

Heather (acting on behalf of Chris) was extremely helpful and responsive. We received clear instructions on how to work the heating and how to enter the property, as well as useful info on local amenities. The house has everything you’d need for a short or medium stay and the location is excellent for visiting central Manchester and the surrounding area. The garden is enclosed with a high fence, which made it perfect for our dog to play in. We also appreciated the dishwasher and washing machine and tumble dryer, which we were able to make use of. We couldn’t fault this property!

Brown Bread Cottage - Peak District

AdamRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our stay at Brown Bread Cottage was delightful. Andre provided clear instructions to find the place, the laminated booklet inside was informative, gave us plenty of recommended local activities and how to use the hot water and heating so despite the rural location, we were always comfy and clean. The locally sourced milk in the fridge on arrival was a great touch. There is also a Wii with a good selection of games for those relaxing in the evening. It’s within walking distance of Edale, which has fantastic eateries with picturesque views. As well as small towns, less than a 10 minute drive away with everything you could need, such as bakeries, general stores, fuel and more. Andre greeted us on arrival, and left us to it. Despite it being a small cluster of cottages, the property is very private and doesn’t feel like you’re living in someone else’s property like some other stays. Will be staying again to do more of the local walks once my fractured knee is healed!

Lovely cottage, comfortable and homely from the minute you walk through the door. Kitchen well stocked and shower was good especially the heated floor. Nice tv/ seating area for after a days hiking. Our dog loved the garden and exploring the surrounding hills. A couple of walks straight from the door. We visited Lady Bower and the B29 crash site both nice walks, but get there early as parking soon fills up. We are already looking for dates to rebook, as lots in the area to do and see.

Sivesh warmly welcomed us on our arrival and introduced us to the lovely house. The house was big, warm and full of characters. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was really good. Pathma was very responsive when we had a question about Wi-Fi. They also provided a highchair and a cot for my baby, which was very accommodating. The baby watched loads of planes taking off from the kitchen window, which was new and exciting for him and definitely a plus point for us!

Lovely Lavender Cottage Tideswell, Buxton

KatieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at Ruth's place. The cottage was easy to find and access. Parking was easy. Once inside, it felt cozy right away and we made ourselves at home - both my daughter and I settled into our rooms quickly then we went for an explore. Tideswell is lovely - nice shops and friendly people. The house's kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom was clean and of a good size, the rooms were clean, and the WiFi worked well. We had everything we needed for the time we were there and wish we could have stayed longer.

Three Roofs Self catering accomodation

AldenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Me and my partner had an amazing stay at Three Roofs. The apartment had enough furnishings/supplies to feel at home, and the location was amazing with loads of amenities within a short walkable distance. The host (Daniel) was very helpful and friendly, as were all the rest of the staff in the café. Something worth noting is the parking space is comfortable and safe for an average sized hatchback (which we have), but I would suggest parking elsewhere if you have a larger/4x4/utility vehicle, otherwise it will likely become an obstruction to neighbouring residents/facilities. That said, if you don't own a large vehicle and you are looking to stay in this area, then I would recommend this listing without hesitation! :)

Edale Moor Keeper's Cottage

MariaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We visited as a group of three. We are keen walkers and had based our walks starting from Edale. Tommy's house and location was absolutely perfect. The photos on Airbnb do not show just how lovely it is in reality. It really is stunning. Absolutely immaculate and we all felt at home immediately. The property has its own grounds covering acres so on our first day we went out walking and exploring with no one else around. The property is in a prime location but also has a feeling of seclusion. Perfect for just chilling or going off hiking, exploring etc. I want to give Mike who is the estate manager a massive big shout out as he was so so helpful and friendly. He gave us loads of tips about the area which really helped us and saved us one unnecessary trip out. We met the owner Tommy whilst there who was very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough to help. We are already looking to plan our next walking trip and stay again next year Thank you Tommy,Mike and staff.
