Life rhythm simple living close to nature!

The life rhythm in the cottage is basic, close to nature in a wonderful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly created food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, cat, chickens, walking, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

Cottage Wipperoen has been in our family for 50 years. It is not on a holiday park, extra safe in these corona times! In 2018 it has been completely renovated and equipped with a new kitchen, lovely beds and underfloor heating. The best part is that it is in the middle of the trees. All freedom on our own terrain of 1100m2! From the cottage you walk into the forest in 5 minutes. Gees is centrally located in Drenthe: Emmen, the beautiful Orvelte and the shops of Hoogeveen are 20 minutes by car.

Guesthouse "De Kraanvogel"

Guesthouse "De Kraanvogel" The atmospheric log cabin can be found in the yard of a farmhouse and has its own driveway. Sheltered under a wooden wall, look out towards the Fochtelooërveen and in the beautifully maintained garden. During the summer, the view may be obstructed by the growth of corn or any other crop. The cabin contains a bedroom, bath and living room and the whole can be heated with a wood stove. You can prepare yourself your own coffee or tea in the cabin.

In the brink village of Ruinen, you will find this tastefully converted field barn. The barn house is located at the back of a plot of 1400 m2 and offers plenty of privacy. The guesthouse is located at a stone's throw from the brink and Dwingelderveld National Park. The interior has been carefully curated on the basis of comfort and atmosphere. Our lovely house is an old renovated farm, with all the comfort of today. The holidayhome de Drentse Hooglander has its own entrance, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen, a cosy living room with tv( netflix), a private garden and terrace. Met vier slaapkamers, twee badkamers en twee toiletten is er ruim plek voor 1 tot 8 personen. Geniet van de natuur, de pittoreske dorpjes, de prachtige wandelgebieden en fietsroutes. Stilte Rust & Ruimte. Wisseldagen in overleg maar bij voorkeur vrijdags en/of maandags.

Our farm was completely newly built in 2015, we live in the back house and the front house is furnished as a vacation home. 5 private parking spaces, a spacious garden with terrace where you can sit. 1 ground floor bedroom with en-suite bathroom, the other 4 bedrooms on the first floor with shared bathroom.

What's "On his Swedish"? A fully furnished cozy house (former living area of the farm) with its own entrance, full of comforts and also wheelchair accessible. Plenty of opportunities to stay privately outside the house. Extras which we offer for a fee: - Groceries when you prefer not to do so yourself during these times. - Provide a warm meal that will be presented in the B&B.
