The house is located in the pedestrian zone on the riverside. Sunday mornings there is a market for antiquities in front of the house, turning into a local Christmas market all December.

Nearby are many starting points for hikes in the beautiful mountains of Julian Alps. It is also close to turistic centers of Bohinj (10 km) and Bled (25 km).
