There is about 15 minutes to walk or 3 minutes by bus to Asker city center. From Asker it is 20 min with train to Oslo S.

Charming and modernized little house at the heart of the Maridalen valley. Perfect for city and field holidays. 15 minutes drive to civilization or 20 minute train ride to Oslo S from Snippen station 200 meters away. For Varingskollen Alpinsenter it is 20 minutes by train the other way. Nordmarka's hiking trails and bike paths start at your doorstep. The host is living close by and is available. The house has a 20 sqm base, but is efficiently utilized with loft, large ceiling height and good window surfaces. The terrace is south facing and sunny.

Here you can wake up to lovely views of the fjord in a simple and peaceful apartment on the 3rd floor. Enjoy your morning coffee by the kitchen counter or on the porch with the same great view you see from the bed. Right outside the door, you can follow the walkway down to the city, jump on the bus (which also stops right outside the door and takes 12 minutes to Strømsøtorg and the train station), or you can take the path up to Nordbykollen with panoramic views from the lookout tower. The nearest grocery store is 3 minutes away by car.

Post Cabin

Lower your pulse to the top of the Post Cabin! Stolpehytta is 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum Municipality, just off the Høyt & Lavt Modum climbing park. Here you can find quiet among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view of the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just room for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent electric bikes, stroll down to the climbing park, or explore the local community.

Cozy guesthouse on the edge of the forest

The guesthouse is located in idyllic green surroundings at Konnerud in Drammen. Here you will find hiking and ski trails just outside the door. In the bedroom there is a bunk bed for 2 and in the living room a double sofa bed. The unit has a small kitchenette with fridge, studio stove and kettle, as well as cups and dishes for 4 people. In the bathroom there are heating in the floor, shower and toilet. Our cat, Taco, enjoys the guesthouse. You decide if you want a visit from the cat or if the cat flap should be closed.
