Rupert’s Snug Experience A Cathedral Hill Hideaway

The Snug was the perfect creative and cozy space for a visit to the Twin Cities for a songwriting conference. Douglas went above and beyond every step of the way. The space was meticulously crafted and staged, which made me feel like a VIP in the best way. Everything was perfectly clean, and the sauna was a real showstopper. Honestly, the pictures don’t do the space justice! The space is fully private, but the hosts do live upstairs — that being said, they were so quiet, I could hardly believe they were home until I would hear an occasional footstep overhead. They were so considerate! Douglas did an excellent job of proactively communicating about things that could have caused confusion or frustration for a guest, such as parking, which can be a bit tricky to find if you get in late at night, but his recommendations made it seamless to navigate. Great customer service! I felt so welcome and taken care of — I would definitely stay here again!

Tony’s place is lovely. Newly renovated and well appointed with whatever you might need. It’s within walking distance to popular sites and many restaurants. I highly recommend shopping for amazing food items at Cossettas Italian Market! Tony was warm and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful stay! Anita was a fantastic and responsive host and the place was perfect for our group. We were in town for a bonspiel at St. Paul Curling Club and the location could not have been more convenient (3 min walk). There was a lovely coffee shop around the block and a handful of restaurants within walking distance. Would absolutely stay again!

Super pleased with this home! We headed up to St. Paul to move our son home from college and needed a place to stay. This home is in an excellent location, near all the colleges and easy on and off the freeway. Spacious place! The bonus was to not have to worry about finding a parking spot in the city! We are already looking to book this home when we move him back in the Fall!

This was a great spot to stay on a budget! This location is in an apartment complex - the community at the complex was friendly and family-oriented, which made me feel very safe as a solo female traveler. The unit is secure, and all appliances and living quarters were clean and in working order. I saw in past reviews that some people commented about flies, which are present in the hallway of the complex but are not in the actual unit itself, which is nothing that the host can do anything about, and didn’t affect my stay at all. Hamadeh was very helpful and great with communication whenever I needed anything. Next time I visit the area, I will be staying here again! Thank you Hamadeh for hosting!

Anupama and her husband are a warm and welcoming couple. They made me feel completely at home and were wonderfully hospitable throughout my stay. They kindly allowed me to leave my bags after checkout, and often offered me beverages whenever they were having something themselves. I really appreciated their thoughtfulness and generosity!
