Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Downtown, Boston

The place was exactly as the pictures! It is located in the basement but has plenty of windows and natural lighting! Very easy to find and check in was smooth. Lots of street parking as advertised. And the area was very quiet. I didn’t even hear the other guests in the house.

Perfect set up for our crew; were in Boston from CA to celebrate a graduate. Home was centrally located to all of our festivities and worked out great.

We love the Southie House! We’ve stayed here a few times, it’s just the absolute best location and house setup. Best Airbnb for kids. The private back yard with swing set, ample seating everywhere, and the basement are all favorites of ours. The showers have incredible water pressure and the beds are so comfortable! We cannot wait to stay here again!

The Cottage was perfect as a place for us to crash and relax before a crazy weekend wedding in Arlington. The house was decorated with interesting prints and so many books! Though the weather was not ideal, the deck with its views looked amazing. My wife decided that we would try to stay here whenever we come to the Boston area. Minutes from Winchester and the T and the quaint restaurants and coffee shops. We love it.

Lovely home, well-stocked with everything you will need for your stay - kitchen utensils, pots and pans, basic ingredients, towels and shower products, etc. TV and Amazon Alexa speaker. Would highly recommend staying here, easy walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, bars and public transportation in Porter and Union Squares.

Marybeth’s home was exactly what me and my family wanted. We wanted a cozy place far enough from the city, but close enough to easily drive into Boston. Since I like to cook, I was immediately impressed with the kitchen and all its ammenities. I did not want for a single kitchen tool or appliance. Everyone commented on how the beds felt - warm and comfortable. Loved the back yard and the grill. Great communications. Easy check-in and easy check-out. Highly recommend Marybeth’s BnB.

Beautiful space that’s close to Boston. It was the perfect location with a lot of available parking. We enjoyed being so close to Boston without having to pay to park. Carmen is a great host.

Great space, loved the interior and the layout. Great mirrors to take pictures in front of. I’d definitely stay here again and I’d recommend to friends and family. Happy with the service and location. 10/10!

We loved their place and the location right on the beach and in the sea wall . Got great pics of waves hitting the seawall. Close to alll Boston and Salem locations . Had a great time apt was beautiful and Carol and John left fridge for us fully stocked with milk juice drinks and food . Couldn’t ask for more . We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub Grest place to stay

I had my family of four and we wanted to be near the hospital to visit our father-in-law and also went to a Red Sox game at Fenway. I was having a hard time finding a hotel with two beds and decided to look at other options. Found George's place which is more spacious and the same cost as a hotel! We just used an Uber to get around. It was easier than walking.

This was my first Airbnb experience and I was so pleased. Erin was very helpful prior and had clear and concise instructions for check in. I had a specific reason for staying in this location but I would definitely consider staying here again if I need to be in the area!

Lucia was wonderful to work with. She was quick to give us tips for our trip - having never been to the Boston area. We were very intimidated about the public transportation but Lucia put our mind at ease. Her place felt very safe - even walking from the bus stop at 11pm after a baseball game. Only a few minutes from the bus stop that takes you right into Boston. We used the buses or subway to get all over Boston and it was very easy to navigate from Lucia’s place. The place was clean and quaint. It provided a nice place to relax at the end of a busy day.

Great spot to stay for a quick business trip in the area. The parking pass made it a breeze at check-in, and the coffee was a life saver for my early morning starts!

Dave and Mandy’s place was perfect for our stay in Malden with 4 adults and a child. It was clean, spacious, quiet, and in a safe location. Would recommend!

Federico’s place was perfect for our group’s visit. The decor was unique and charming and the house was generally spotless. Beautiful flowers in the front yard, well appointed rooms, and close proximity to shops and transportation. All amenities you could possibly need were available and anything that required repair, the host was clear in communication and offered alternatives. We were appreciative of the full kitchen with abundant dishes and cookware. Unfortunately, past guests left dirty items in the cupboards and had to be washed prior to use. It’s a shame that some guests abuse the host’s generosity and trust. One note is that the house gets lots of sunlight with many windows. The shades in the master bedroom was not enough to block the morning sun so I used the extra linen as a hack. Overall, great place to stay. Grazie mille, Federico.

The house is well-set up to accommodate guests. The neighborhood is safe, residential and with free-lines streets. Near Arnold Arboretum it is a beautiful area. The bathroom and bedroom are really clean and clutter-free which was so refreshing to experience! Anna is incredibly responsive and even when I needed assistance in the early morning hours she was available. And when I returned home late one evening on an unseasonably hot day she offered to turn on he air conditioning and then proceeded to install a window unit in the room in less than 19 minutes. She made great coffee in the morning and provided many suggestions for transport and getting around generally; and she walked me to the nearby bus stop on my first morning in the house. The house is large enough to house multiple guests simultaneously but I hardly overlapped with them. I’m very appreciative for the pleasant experience.

Everything about my stay was exactly as represented in the description on Airbnb. Anna was very attentive and we had a nice chat over coffee before I left in the morning. It was quiet and clean, and in a lovely neighborhood.

Our stay at Anna and Samuel’s place was exactly what we were looking for. It was quiet and peaceful and within driving distance of the city. It was clean and comfortable. The hosts were responsive and could easily any questions we had. We will definitely consider staying there again.
