We loved our stay! We were in town for a wedding and Highland Brewing and it was the perfect spot for us! The house was clean and the neighborhood was quiet, and the yard was perfect for our pup! Highly recommend!

Really lovely guest suite in a perfect location to explore Asheville and the surrounding mountains. I stayed for a month and was so pleased with the location. There's a nice little local bar and a coffee shop less than a mile away. The space was very comfy (especially the bed!) and cozy and felt like a small home away from home. Hosts were super nice people, kind and proactive. There's no TV, which was perfect for me! Good WiFi. I will definitely stay there again if/when I'm in Asheville.

Beautiful spot. Matthew is a gentleman host who made us feel at home. Bungalow had an Aspen ski vibe which added a flair to the snowfall. The hot tub was warm and roomy, so says this zoftig lady. The snow views were gorgeous. Definitely would stay again.

We loved our stay! Everything we wanted to do was in close proximity and the recommendations for food were amazing! Our stay was peaceful and the cottage itself was lovely.

We stayed here with another couple and had a lovely stay. Lots of great amenities, big, very clean. We enjoyed the hot tub, snacks and coffee. Instructions were clear. Check out and other 'rules' were very reasonable. All four of us mentioned that we would love to stay here again.

This home is one of the prettiest places I have stayed off of air bnb! It is every bit as good as the pictures you see. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quaint peaceful experience!

Great location for a quick family weekend get away. Loved the scenic location, wildlife, and sound of the creek from the comfy porch. Listing as described, kitchen clean and functional. Beds/pillows clean and comfortable. Location close to Asheville and local attractions.

Smithson’s place was perfect for us. Very clean and cozy! We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen that had full pots and pans and spices too! He was so kind to help me with a package debacle and always fast and nice responses. He made us feel at home and welcome. We enjoyed playing basketball on his side of the fence. Very dog friendly and also quiet. I enjoyed reading in the porch every morning with my coffee. Was also close to everything we wanted to go do! Highly recommend!

Dawn and Ron were amazing hosts! They were very responsive and gave amazing suggestions for our girls trip. Pippin and Frodo gave us so much joy! I would highly recommended to anyone looking for a place to enjoy some peace and relaxation but convince of experiencing all that Asheville has to offer.

Stayed at The Happy Hippie House 2 nights and it was perfect. The space was perfect. Space was fun, clean and private. The host was easy to chat with. We walked to breakfast and dinner in West Asheville. Def would stay again. Thanks!

Great place to stay if you’re looking to enjoy mountain surroundings and stay away from hustle and bustle of downtown Asheville. Lots of things to do and see on this north end of the Asheville area. Good restaurants and unique breweries available in nearby Weaverville about a 10 minute drive from this cabin. Hosts are great and cabin is nice, cozy and very clean.

Silver and Shane's place is perfect for our needs. My partner and I travel often to the Asheville area with our dog, and we stay for a week or more visiting family. This basement apartment is simple, clean, and very large with a queen sized bed in the huge bedroom and a full-sized (and surprisingly comfortable) futon as well as a full-sized sofa and easy chair in the living room, which allows us to spread out, have temporary guests over, AND still have plenty of room for our sometimes rambunctious dog! There's no "kitchen" but the living room is really large and has an alcove where there is a small refrigerator, microwave, a coffee maker, dishes, silverware, and glassware for four+ people plus a small dining table that seats four! The space is wonderfully simple - just as described - and very comfortable. Oh - and the bathroom is spacious and laid out well AND has plenty of nice towels, a hair dryer, and extra soap! Shane and Silver are lovely people, really friendly!

Wren’s home that we rented was idyllic. We wished we would’ve stayed longer! The covered porch allows you to be outside even if it’s raining so pack a board game, cards or book to enjoy this awesome space. Wren’s place is the perfect place to unwind.

It was immediately apparent that Robert's place was one of the good ones! It was a charming historic bungalow furnished and outfitted with care and thoughtfulness. Handsome antique furniture served us well, classic lamps and artwork lent elegance, comfortable furniture arranged to allow for easy gatherings. The kitchen lacked for nothing and the large antique wood plank table accomdated our extended family. Bedrooms featured comfortable beds and crisp linens as well as blinds on windows that opened and provided delightful cross breezes. The bathrooms were spotlessly clean and showers had seemingly endless hot water. We appreciated the handy laundry room. A back deck and patio provided safe haven for our bicycles as well as a barbecue grill! Mostly we enjoyed the comfortable screened porch . We spent every evening here enjoying the sounds of happy children at the neighborhood swimming pool as well as a spring downpour. We hope to return someday for the next family reunion.

Very comfortable, quiet home. I felt like we were the first guests based on the cleanliness. We enjoyed sitting on the patio watching for wildlife and played a few games of foosball. Easy instructions, no fuss. Thank you.

I have stayed in Carolyn's units several times. She is a fantastic host and very responsive. The apartment had everything we needed for a week's stay. There are snacks too! We were at a conference with people dropping in for lunch so I particularly appreciated the extra table and chairs. I slept on the bed and sofa and both were comfortable. The lake view and access to the walking trail are perfect. The close proximity to Stuart Auditorium was a must for me. I highly recommend Carolyn's units and am already booked for next year.

A pristine home in an amazing private community. Full equipped with kitchen, bath, and extras. Always great recommendations and responsive to questions. Highly recommend for families that enjoy nature and privacy.

We loved our quiet weekend away eventhough it poured. The cabin was very cozy and warm and roses and champagne were a wonderful surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed reconnecting as a couple while watching movies and simply unplugging from work and family for a few days. We will definitely come back once the weather warms up.

Stayed here with my mom for two weeks while visiting family nearby. I've stayed at a lot of Airbnb's over the years and this house was, by far, the best. Doug and LouLyn thought of EVERYTHING you would need for your stay. They were so friendly, gracious, and accommodating. They also took time out to spend time with my nieces and nephew to explore their beautiful farm and the new calf. The kids were ecstatic and still talk about how amazing that experience was. We also enjoyed the yard and the pool, which was nicer than most resorts you stay at. The pictures don't really do it justice. The only thing more beautiful than the views were the hearts of Doug and LouLyn; truly wonderful people. I cannot thank you enough for opening your home and hearts to me and my family. We made such great memories during this trip and look forward to coming back. Blessings to you and your family.
