Our cottage is the original dwelling in a beautiful Grade II, 14th century Medieval Longhouse. We live in the 'byre' end of the building - originally the 'cow shed' and are on hand for any help or advice - or perhaps a glass of wine... Note - Doorway beams are low and staircase is characteristically steep. Burrington is a beautiful and very quiet small hamlet 2.5 miles from Leintwardine (and the nearest shop and pubs), 5 miles from Ludlow and just a couple of miles from Mortimer Forest.

Sleepers is our South Shropshire holiday home bought as a new build in 2000. Located on the edge of Bucknell, a small village on the Welsh border, in beautiful countryside 15 minutes from the Welsh town of Knighton and 20 minutes from Ludlow. Fantastically situated for walking and great off-road biking routes nearby. Two village pubs, a small shop and Bucknell Station within walking distance. The house is warm, homely and comfortable and in a quiet area so is not suitable for noisy groups.

A spacious place to stay, attached to our family home, with private parking and your own access. The barn has two king size rooms, one with bath and shower room and the other with toilet and basin. You will also have a spacious lounge with sofa bed, Netflix, Amazon and wifi. Bread, milk, cereal, tea, coffee etc is provided in the kitchenette. The house is opposite a public house which serves good food and ale. We have amazing walks and cycling on the doorstep.
