Apartment vacation rentals in Dover Beach

We were there for a family reunion. Lots of us were scattered about at LC , Salty Toes, Barefoot Bay etc. so the location is great for convenience, grocery shopping, bakery etc. Lots of sea weed at this time of year which is not great. But can’t beat location for convenience. If you plan not to rent a car, it is easy to move about on foot or by local transport. Noisy though at night as a busy junction.

Wanda was a wonderful host. She was very friendly and quickly addressed any items that were brought up. Wanda left us a wonderful basket of goodies for the night we arrived, since it was late in the day went we got in. The house is very spacious and has everything you need. It is located very close to the bus stop. We had a wonderful vacation and want to thank Wanda for being so good to us. It was a pleasure meeting her and staying at her place.

We knew the area well as had been a few times before but never stayed at these apartments before. 6 adults in 3 bedrooms and yet it never felt crowded once. Any concerns we had was answered straight away. Everything was as described and perfect. If I did have one little moan it was there was nowhere secure to store the luggage or get a shower the day we was leaving as our flight wasn’t until 6.30pm so had to book in the hotel next for a few hours as our room was booked for the next person.

Beautiful clean condo with a fully loaded kitchen. It’s one of those places where you can use something and then leave something behind. I love places like that. All amenities worked and the next guests should have a new coffee pot. I really enjoyed the softer touches, candles outside (yes, I left one), lots of towels and random house hold everyday items that you need in an Airbnb. I recommend renting a car to get around.

Had a fantastic stay at Serenity Sweets. The apartment was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay. Several times throughout my visit, I thought, " Wow, they really thought of everything!" The apartment is walking distance from the beach and lots of restaurants. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

It was exactly what I needed. Beautiful set up and location love the levels. Very spacious. Amazing beach setting Sound of waves all day Very local. Everything in walking distance or a cheap z van. Thank you for everything

We loved staying here. It was so cute. Christy was the perfect host. Loved having delicious coffee every morning from her coffee shop. The front porch was private and peaceful.

Great host, very friendly and responsive. Wonderful location just steps from the beach! Includes all the amenities you need. Only minor downside is the noise from nearby vehicle and air traffic. Overall, highly recommended!

Very pleased with my stay. Fiona has been very responsive and accommodating of any issues that I have encountered and made sure that my stay was comfortable. The place that I stayed in was in a lovely, quiet and safe place. You won't go wrong on this one.

Kevin was an excellent host, always available and responsive about questions we had as well as many recommendations for things to do/places to see. We were pleasantly surprised that the balcony was bigger than it looked in the pictures. You cannot beat the view of having a private balcony literally on the beach. The beach in front of the apartment did have lots of seaweed the time of year we went so we didn't spend too much time in the water there, but Carlisle Bay is a short 15 min drive away for the perfect lazy beach days we all wish to have on vacation. Carlisle bay also has excellent snorkeling if you bring your own gear and don't mind a leisurely 100yd swim or so to get to the shipwrecks. Having the waves as a natural sound machine made every night pleasant and restful as well as having AC in the bedrooms to keep it nice and cool. We highly recommend renting a car vs using public transport so you can have a lot more freedom to roam the island on your own time.

In the 11 years that I have been staying in air bnbs, I have never met a host as amazing as Rachel - nothing was too much trouble, her place was amazing, so close to the beach, which we pretty much had to ourselves with sun loungers and an umbrella that came with the apartment. We saw a turtle come onto the beach! The air con was so good, hot sunny Barbados outside and lovely and cool inside. Epic surf cafe nearby is really good for breakfast and it’s such a good location to grab the bus to go to Oistins or St Lawrence Gap for food. Thank you so much Rachel!!

We absolutely loved this condo! The view from the balcony was absolutely spectacular. The location couldn’t have been better in terms of walkable, restaurants bars, grocery stores, etc. Would highly recommend this place. One tip bring your earplugs. The reggae bus likes to start honking its horn around 6 AM & the bar close by blasts music until 2AM but I would still highly recommend this spot!

We really liked this spacious comfortable attractive apartment. Owner Rob and manager Orissa communicated well and were flexible and helpful about checkin and checkout times. It was well equipped, with details like (new) beach towels, soap, kitchen essentials, adapter plugs. It is in a lively area, close to amenities and good beaches. The bar opposite is quite noisy until 10pm but had a live reggae band one night which we enjoyed.

I had a great stay at Allison’s place! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. What really stood out, though, was how accommodating Allison was, she kindly let me stay a bit longer on my checkout day since my flight wasn’t until later in the afternoon. I’d definitely recommend staying here and would happily book again!

Staying at Sisi’s place in Barbados was an absolute dream. From the moment we walked in, it felt like home—cozy, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. The space was spotless, with every corner beautifully maintained and decorated with an eye for style and comfort. It’s clear that Sisi puts a lot of care into making her guests feel at ease. The location couldn’t have been better—close to everything we needed, whether it was the beach, restaurants, or local attractions. It was the perfect base to explore the island and then come back to relax in a peaceful, beautiful space. Sisi was an incredible host—responsive, friendly, and genuinely thoughtful. I can’t recommend this place enough and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you, Sisi, for making our stay so memorable!

We stayed at 204 Mistle Cove for one week. The location is right in the heart of Lawrence Gap with all restaurants and amenities within walking distance. The apartment itself is just as advertised, although the view is actually nicer than the pictures. The main room sleeps with a broadview of the ocean and the calming sounds of waves. The patio is spacious and perfect for breakfast , lunch and dinners in front of the ocean. My daughter loved the pool and the ocean front was a lot of fun with the high waves. A calmer and longer beach was only a two min walk from the apartment at Dover. Overall, we had everything we could have needed here, and would easily stay again if we go back to Barbados.

Wayne and his team were very helpful. The house was prestige and in a great location. When I return to Barbados, I will 100% be booking with them

I've been visiting Barbados for years, and Lumiere is in a beautiful estate, with great amenities, and in a convenient location. the host, Lynne, was quick to respond, and flexible. I highly recommend this beautiful apartment accommodation.

Reeds house 9 is a great 2 bedroom apartment right on the sea front with glorious views. The beach is small and private and sun beds are on a smaller garden area just above the beach with steps down. There are specified beds for each of the 12 apartments. The jacuzzi is a great place to sit after a day in the sun! We stayed during the low season so the building was very quiet. It's in a good location pretty much in between Holetown & Speightstown. All the staff were extremely helpful with a special mention to our cook Marcia- She is truly amazing! We loved our time there and would definitely stay again. I must mention that as the apartment is managed by a management company, Blue Sky, and that there is no real personal touch. We felt like we were just a number or another booking. The response time was slow prior to my booking and when I asked for late check out of 3pm, instead of the usual 12pm, was told I'd have to pay a half day rate of around £140/$180usd. This was despite the apartment being unoccupied after we left and the fact we had spent £1900/$2500 for the week. Another thing to note that the arrival meal is charged later in your stay if you check in late. It cost us approx £60/£75 for two people.

just spent a fabulous two weeks at Hayley and Logan's villa. It was exactly like the photos and description with everything and more needed for 2 week stay. It was safe and secure with lovely swimming pool and wonderful beach where we spent most afternoons. There is supermarket some 5 minute walk with an abundance of restaurants and things to see nearby. We hired a car for a few days and there's a private parking space. However the buses are plentiful and cheap. The staff in the complex were amazing and couldn't do enough for you. We would highly recommend this wonderful villa and we are already planning our next visit. We even got to swim with the turtles on Schooner Bay beach which was amazing and the end to a wonderful holiday.

Highly recommend! Jo the host is phenomenal and went above and beyond to ensure our stay went well. She was very quick to respond and provided so many great recommendations for us. We could not have asked for a better host. The area is wonderful, we were very comfortable the entire time, and we had everything you would want. Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, patio are all great! Very clean and super spacious. Jo’s extra efforts would make me feel beyond comfortable staying here again with my family or in any other listing she had. Thank you Jo!

We had a fantastic stay at Magnus’ condo in Barbados! From the start, Magnus was a wonderful host. Very responsive and even took the time to personally welcome us. The condo was well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed to cook meals comfortably. The location is excellent: about a 10-minute drive to St. Lawrence Gap, or a 25-minute walk if you prefer. Oistins Fish Market and the supermarket are also within a 20-minute walk. It was really convenient having taxis available right at the entrance, with rides to Rockley Beach or St. Lawrence Gap costing around 30 BBD$. The condo itself is set on a quiet back road, it was very peaceful and we weren’t disturbed by any street noise. We also appreciated how clean the pool was, even though we only used it once. Plus, the Bougainvillea Hotel is just a 5-minute walk away, and there are a few great bars and restaurants at 2 minutes walk we would definitely recommend Magnus’ condo

We really enjoyed our stay at Ashlyn. The beach was just a few minutes walk. Savvy on the bay is a maybe a 15 walk. You can catch a bus or cab on the road. The location is a little hard to find for delivery drivers but you just have to give them the Sage bistro landmark info. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The ac worked perfectly. The water temperature was great. They really thought of every detail to help with an extended stay. We felt right at home!
