Vacation rentals in Dover Beach

The accommodation is a dream. The location, the private beach and the view are simply priceless. The communication with the host was exceptional. You could write via WA (message) at practically any time and received lots of information and tips for the island in advance. Cleanliness was also perfect - no dust or anything similar to be found, even in the smallest corners. The only problem could be the noise level for new guests. It is a bit noisy and therefore depends on how other guests behave or “move” quietly or the cabs honking ;-) That wasn't a problem for us. The sound of the sea and the chirping of the birds is all the more beautiful. I would give it 6 out of 5 stars.

The location is ideal. Walkable to many restaurants. In April the ocean/beach is calm mid day but rougher with the wind in the morning and afternoon so beach access is not possible with kids. Very spacious and the plunge pool is big enough to enjoy with multiple people. Over 5 feet deep. The patio is great and views are impressive. Isaac was super accommodating, communicative and kind. We had a relaxing stay and would recommend to a family looking for a nice unit with good views and walkable to restaurants.

The host was pleasant, polite and respectful. However, I felt she could of been more informative about the early check-in being that we arrived at 12:40pm at the hotel. The check-in was for 4pm but on the paper with instructions of the hotel, it stated early check-in upon availability for a cost. We were willing to check-in earlier.

By far the best experience I’ve had with booking and getting into the space with Airbnb , it’s a cute spot perfect for two and even better if you’re by yourself. Paul is a champ , made me feel right at home , instructions were clear and he is a proactive communicator. Felt like I was texting my friend who left me the keys to his vacation home in Barbados lol. Would recommend having a rental if you’re staying by yourself , the walk from the Oistins strip back to the spot is perfect if you’re with someone but wouldn’t recommend doing it alone, although I did and didn’t have any issues it would be wise to leave and explore earlier in the day if you decide to do so on foot. Beautiful area , the locals are friendly and the fish market has some great options. I never had to use the ac unit once , the constant winds coming off the ocean coupled with the windows open and fans running?? Had me asleep in minutes 👌🏾, it truly made the space that much more comfortable. Great overall experience.

Mark was an amazing host! The accommodation was very well located in a peaceful neighbourhood. I would definitely stay at Marks place again without a doubt!

We had an absolutely amazing stay in April 2025! This place is truly a gem, featuring a beautiful pool and a private, cozy jetty beach. You can lay down on your bed and watch and smell the ocean through the floor-to-ceiling open (if you wish) window. It had everything we could possibly need — we didn’t have to ask for anything extra. One standout detail (especially for travelers who love to stay organized): there was plenty of storage space for clothes and an enormous number of hangers — truly a dream for any woman on vacation! The location is also unbeatable — right in the heart of the island, surrounded by great bars and restaurants. You don’t need to drive anywhere (but if yiu do they have free parking spot, bus and taxis just next to the place); you can just walk and enjoy everything the area has to offer. The host was incredibly responsive, helpful, and made us feel so welcome. Honestly, it’s hard to believe a place like this exists! We are so grateful for this experience!

The condo was wonderful. It was nice to be on the 5th floor and have a great view of the ocean. Great location, beautiful beach, easy to walk to restaurants. We loved having the pools too. Would definitely recommend!

Can’t say enough good things about Leeton On Sea. It’s a real gem. Trudi is on top of communications and booking details, while Phillip and Angela are incredibly friendly hosts. They took the time to greet me when I arrived, showed me around the place and made me feel completely welcome while I was there. The property is quiet, homely and conveniently located within walking distance to a supermarket, Oistins Fish Market, Miami Beach, Maxwell Beach as well as plenty of restaurants, shops and a gym. The Gap is walkable too - maybe 20-25 mins by foot. The private garden behind the house is beautiful with direct access to the sea. It’s almost like having your own private beach! I booked my next stay while I was there. I’m looking forward to visiting again soon. No notes - 5 stars all around!
