House vacation rentals in Douglas

This house was so beautiful and was a perfect place to spend a girl’s weekend! Would recommend over and over again and would definitely stay here again! Mike was also very quick at responding (even on the weekend) and when something wasn’t right he was very quick it fix it.

This is our 3rd year in a row to come for an extended Labor Day weekend and bring our kids and/or grandkids. We love the setting. The pool is perfect for the younger kids and the adults appreciate the beauty of all the surroundings, including at poolside. If we could change anything at all we would add another bedroom as we can't quite get all of our extended family here at one time. That said, we would like to return for a 4th year at Labor Day weekend time next year. The combination of beauty, privacy, amenities, condition (always in great shape!), and proximity to lovely South Haven can hardly be beat!

This is the second time we have had the pleasure of staying with Harriet. It is an amazing place located in a great spot to get to the beaches, restaurants and fun things to do in town. Communication with Harriet was easy and she was very quick to respond the couple of times we communicated with her. We highly recommend staying here and we can't wait to find another excuse to stay again!

Jennifer’s home was absolutely amazing—beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared in every way. It was the perfect place for our family getaway. The kids had an incredible time and are still talking about all the fun they had. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. We really enjoyed our stay at Jennifer’s house! It was clean, great location & cozy! We especially loved the automatic pool cover so we could actually relax on vacation with our little ones running around. I also loved the three separate areas outside (pool, fire pit, grassy area). The separate areas offered a nice change of scenery to break up the day without leaving the house. I also loved that it’s a spacious ranch style house, so was easy to keep eyes on the kids. Jennifer was a wonderful & accommodating host & can’t wait to get back to her house soon! Thanks for having us!

Brandon was a very responsive host. The home was clean and comfortable—perfect for our family gathering. The hot tub and pool provided hours of entertainment. If we return to the area, we would definitely see if this place was available. **When we inquired about kitchen towels because we couldn’t find any at check-in, he had new ones door dashed to us the same day—certainly above and beyond our expectations.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, spacious, and well-appointed property in Douglas. The home was perfect for our family and friends, featuring comfortable beds, a fantastic, fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of room to relax and enjoy each other’s company. The backyard was stunning, though unfortunately, the weather didn’t allow us to fully enjoy it. Our host, Dragan, was very responsive and exceptionally helpful throughout our stay. We loved the location’s proximity to Douglas, Saugatuck, Holland, and South Haven, which made exploring the area incredibly easy and convenient. We will be back!

John was so helpful and truly an amazing host! What a GREAT stay. The house was spotless and had everything you could possibly need. We instantly felt welcomed and comfortable. The house is in a peaceful, beautiful and quiet location. We will definitely be back!

The cottage was perfect for what we needed. It was clean, comfortable, and cute. I loved the hot tub and the screened in back porch. It was close enough to walk to the beach, and a short drive to downtown saugatuck. Lots of very cute local shops, restaurants, and coffee shops. Would highly recommend!

We’ve stayed at quite a few Airbnbs over the years, and this one was hands-down the best. The photos truly don’t do it justice—every space was even more beautiful and welcoming in person. The hosts thought of everything. From the kitchen to the bathrooms, there were so many thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. If you happened to forget something, chances are it was already there waiting for you. The location couldn’t have been better. We could see the chain ferry from our window and had plenty of time to stroll over and catch it. One of our favorite parts of the trip was relaxing on the many porches—each one offered a peaceful spot to sit and take in the surroundings. The hosts were super accommodating and made everything so easy. We honestly couldn’t have loved it more. Highly, highly recommend!

Vince’s condo was excellent — new, clean, open floor plan, views of the water, and so close to downtown Saugatuck and Douglas. We were originally at a different rental home for a girls trip, but that home lost power and running water while we were there so we had to quickly find a new place to stay. Vince immediately responded to my message, and shortly after, we were checking in. His condo ended up being so much better than the original place we were staying. Thank you so much Vince, we will be back again!

Loved the place…beautiful, quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the beach. Only 10 minute drive to shopping at Saugatuck. Place was VERY clean and had so many “extras” like Ziplocs, laundry detergent, salt and pepper,condiments and all the kitchen gadgets. Also had beach chairs and beach towels, made it very convenient. Beautiful back yard with grill. HIGHLY recommend!!!

Amazing home, wonderful neighborhood!! One of my most favorite vacations ever!!

We had a wonderful 2 nights at Mark and Sevryn’s gorgeous cottage. The setup is perfect for 2 couples or 1 family. The house was immaculately clean, well-stocked kitchen and the hosts were super friendly. They provided local restaurant recommendations for us. The house is very walkable to town (just a couple of blocks) but feels so peaceful and secluded at the same time. We would definitely return! Thank you Mark and Sevryn!

This has been one of the most stylish and unique places we've ever stayed in. The apartment is beautifully designed and ideally located near Kalamazoo Lake and Lake Michigan. We absolutely loved our time here.

We had a wonderful family vacation! The host was very friendly and greeted us to check in and show us around. The location is phenomenal, it is right by Wades Bayou and a fishing pier and kayak rental. It is very walkable to downtown Douglas and everything that has to offer, and only a short drive to downtown Saugatuck. The property is beautiful, we all really enjoyed the pristine yard and dock. We had several perfect days under the shade tree and nights by the fire. The view of the river was wonderful, and we even caught a few fish right from the backyard. We all had comfortable accommodations. Overall it was absolutely everything we needed and wanted and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful spot with walkability to plenty of fun!

We stayed at this lake house over Memorial Day weekend with our family, and it completely exceeded our expectations. It truly felt like the best vacation - peaceful, relaxing, and even better than we hoped for. The luxurious finishes were exactly what drew us to the home and did not disappoint. The heated pool was essential and such a treat, and the layout of the home made it so easy for all of us to hang out, cook, and enjoy time together. Ana was a great host, we would absolutely come back again!

This cozy little cottage was exactly what my wife and I were looking for during our trip to Saugatuck. It's a very cute house that still has the old cottage charm, mixed in with new amenities. And we loved the short walk to downtown. It's a perfect location. Brad was very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay! The house is very centrally located, walkable to groceries and great restaurants, well furnished and decorated, has comfortable beds, and is extremely clean and well equipped. You won’t be disappointed. Check with the host before packing picnic/beach equipment, games or other extras, because the house most likely has everything you’ll need. We will definitely stay again!

Summerhouse Lavender Farms was the perfect place for my son's wedding. The whole experience was easy and everything went off without a hitch. The Airbnb was very nice, spacious and the decor was so unique. The grounds were stunning and made for the perfect backdrop for their outdoor wedding. So much was included in the cost that we felt like we got a great deal and the owner was very responsive to messages and super nice.

Jill absolutely exceeded expectations as a host. She was extremely responsive and accommodating to my laundry list of questions as the maid of honor planning her best friend's bachelorette party. She went above and beyond to help me find a place for boat renting outside of the typical rentals you can easily find from a Google search. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

My two sisters and I came for a quick bday getaway and were immediately impressed by the beauty of the condo. The decor is thoughtfully designed and everything was spotless. It’s clear a lot of care went into creating such a welcoming space. The location was perfect. Private but right in the heart of downtown. We especially loved relaxing on the porch each evening, taking in the beautiful views. Thank you for your warm hospitality! Definitely will be back very soon to this lovely place!!
