Waterfront vacation rentals in Douglas County

Great last minute booking to get out of the heat. 1 minute walk to the private beach, 2 pools to use, great space inside with a pull out sleeper couch if needed. Highly recommend and will be back again. We live in El Dorado County so stay in SLT often and this is one we will put at the top of the list with the beach access and amenities

Walking to lake front but not sandy beaches (those are just a short drive). Clean and quiet place. They added additional towels since we were 4 guests. Note, the bed in the other room is a double bed (as described in the listing), which is a full size bed smaller than queen. Worked for us, but something to keep in mind. It creaks just a bit when you get in / get up. Kitchen was well stocked with basics -- oil, salt, spices, utensils etc. Bedding was ample and comfortable. We went when it was cool, the heater worked well. Some things that could improve: we found soap/shampoo in the closet, but may be provide conditioner and lotion as well, this seems to be a standard in airbnbs. I generally carry some when traveling so this wasn't an issue for us.

I absolutely loved staying here. I spent 4 nights here and it was wonderful. I got to sit on the balcony and watch the sunset over the lake. It is also walking distance to several places to eat and shop. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in South Lake!

We could not have picked a better flat and host for our stay in South Lake. Mohamed was very easy to work with and helped us check in seamlessly after a long drive. The flat is in a gorgeous spot right on the lake. Perfect for kids with a playground, pool and two hot tubs. Also a great sauna that we used when it was too snowy to enjoy the spas. Nice that they have luggage carts, vending machines, ice machines, and a common room with pool table and games to check out. Hope to be back soon!

Couldn't have been more happy with the location of this townhome! Just a few steps to the private lake beach! The view was wonderful! The home had everything we needed and was very roomy and comfortable! Loved our stay, thanks!

Absolutely amazing host !! The place was exactly as pictured very comfortable and clean. The location was very convenient close to stores food and casinos. The beach was beautiful and the amenities like the pool and lounge chairs were really nice to be able to use .The host was extremely responsive and provided descriptive instructions for everything from time of check in to the time you leave. I can’t wait to come back with my family 10/10 recommend.

Stayed he for Memorial Day weekend with the family . Very nice place with kitchen . Very quiet and peaceful surroundings . The heated pool was nice , with a view of the lake . Karen was a great host , very responsive . We really enjoyed our stay here , definitely will be back and would highly recommend. Thank you Karen for the great hospitality!

Jennifer’s place was just as described, perfect for our group of 5 for everyone to have their own space. Great location right on Lake Tahoe and 5 min drive to the mountains and village. Amenities were close and accessible and perfect for winding down after long days in mountain. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again when we are back in town!

We had a great stay at Kate’s place. The place is very spacious and the location is great — a quick 10 minute drive to Heavenly gondola area. The place is great for a family or big group to stay , and with a spacious living room and kitchen area on the 2nd floor. There are some good views from the place and nearby areas. Kate was a great host, always responded right away, left some goodies for us, and was also flexible in checkout. I would highly recommend staying at Kate’s place. We hope to be back soon !

The cozy cabin was not only welcoming, but well-stocked, clean, close to the beach (within walking distance!), and great for the dogs. The attention to detail, including different types of coffee, games, extra blankets, and well-kept backyard made our stay absolutely wonderful. Candice and Justen were very responsive and fast with communication. Their cabin was perfect for our mini-vacation.

We had such a great time here! My kids absolutely loved everything, from swimming in the pool and relaxing in the hot tub to spending time at the private beach. There were also lots of walkable spots nearby, which made exploring easy and fun. One of their favorite parts was sitting by the fire in the evenings. It was the perfect family getaway!

The cabin was very nice. It was on the water and was a great location. I did not like having to sign a separate contract even though I booked through Airbnb also day of check-in I was requested a picture of my ID and a selfie which I had never done before. I felt like it was too much after already paying, signing their separate contract, and agreeing to the there terms through Airbnb.

This is our second time staying at Anne’s condo. It’s always clean and has everything we need for our family of 6. Anne is always super responsive if we have questions or issues. Love this place!

The location was great. The apartment was good a size and having a kitchen was a plus. We were in South Lake Tahoe for a wedding, and close to the wedding location. We hope to be able reserve this apartment in the future.

Had a great stay at Cynthia’s place! The room was cozy to stay in and it was very close to the lake. Hope to come back again! The hot tubs and fire pits were great too!

Amazing place to stay- you have your own private beach area that is sooo close! Staff was amazing and delivered extra things when needed at the front door. The check in was so easy. Space was clean and everything was amazing. Highly recommend staying here. Walking distance to the state line and the lime scooters also help nearby!
