Cabin vacation rentals in Dorrington

Creating memories with adult children who are living their own lives can be hard to schedule. We found the perfect opportunity for a quick weekend getaway hosted by Leif. What we thought we were getting was a house big enough to host our group. What we got, was so much more! As soon as you walk into the space, you realize that the pictures you saw on the posting do not do justice to the real thing. You’re transported into another era where life slows down and you realize the simplest of things are the really important things: like family. My children especially enjoyed the opportunity to meet Leif’s animals and feed them rinds and banana peels. Peanut was the star of the show ( if you know, you know). Thank you, Leif, for a beautiful weekend that provided a much needed respite, but offered so much more than we were expecting. We can’t wait to come back and make this a family tradition though next time we will stay longer and be more prepared with our animal food supplies : )

We really enjoyed the cabin and it was great to have the hot tub. Sheila is a very responsive host and gave great recommendations. We would definitely return!

5 stars! Had such a great weekend with friends at Little Bear! The place is beautifully designed and super cozy, exactly as described. We appreciated the nice towels and the comfy beds. It’s great that the loft has two queens, great if you are traveling with all adults. The setting was peaceful and private — perfect for a relaxing getaway. We loved the hot tub in the morning and star gazing around the fire pit at night. We also enjoyed dinner out on the deck. The location is perfect, so close to Big Trees SP and not far from Murphys, we enjoyed the Sunday Farmer’s Market and Pablito’s Taco Truck! Liset was responsive and helpful, with clear instructions for check-in, check out and local tips. We’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet retreat in nature. .

The place is one of the best places Airbnb places we’ve got to stay and relax in. Comfortable and homey. Lots of fun games and music stuff We enjoyed the vinyl records ,hot tub and game room. It’s not too far off from some of the most spectacular views and trails. The hosts were very cool and we never had any issues that we needed to talk to them about. They were very accommodating and we would gladly stay here again.

We absolutely loved the place and can’t wait to rebook! House was super spacious and beautiful location! Lots for the kids to do while the adults had a separate space to unwind! Hosts were extremely responsive and provided all of the information we needed for an enjoyable stay!

Great, comfortable, roomy house in a beautiful area. Very quiet and surrounded by trees. We were there to hike and spend time outdoors, so there were many amenities we didn't use, but the place is stocked with all kinds of activities (games, puzzles, toys for the kids, etc). We did really enjoy the use of the charcoal grill and the wonderful backyard fire ring, and found everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare our dinners. The host was very proactive in sending helpful information, including activities going on in the area during the holiday weekend. Would definitely return.

Adam was very responsive and accommodating. His place was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was very peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay!

Wow, this place is serene! It’s quiet and peaceful and exactly what we needed to get away from the huddle and bustle of life. The cabin was charming. The shower was great. The temperature was perfect. The beds were very comfortable. The Brita water pitcher in the fridge was a great touch. The fridge kept everything very cold. The summer camp vibe is there and the scenery is beautiful. We loved daily walks by the river. It was perfect for my dogs. And at night the stars were amazing! About 90 minutes from Yosemite. About 15 minutes from all the stores/grocery you could need. We’d visit again for sure. Thank you for hosting us!

We had an awesome experience staying at Stefan’s cabin. It was a peaceful and relaxing retreat for the weekend. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet time away from the city.

Had a great stay at Russhel's place. It was peaceful and clean. Also, the wifi was great and I was able to take meetings from there.

We’ve stayed at a lot of airbnbs in the Arnold area and this one was by far the best! Kristen is an amazing host. We hope to stay there again soon!

We had a great time at 2doglodge! The cabin was very spacious, clean and in a quiet area that is well kept. Communication was smooth and we had no issues checking in or out. A great find for this area and we hope to be back soon! Thanks Mike.

We had another great stay at Michael's cabin. We've stayed here numerous times and it does not disappoint. The cabin has a well-stocked kitchen, a beautiful view, and is a great place stay when exploring the area or going skiing at Bear Valley.

We had a really relaxing stay at the Lazy Loft. The cabin was just as expected - clean, cozy, and well-equipped. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, perfect for unwinding and taking walks. Kristianne was a wonderful host and very responsive. We’d definitely stay here again!

For a spring ski trip to Bear Valley, this was a great location. The house was very comfortable and peaceful. The kitchen has all the utensils, pots, pans, spices, etc that we needed, the heat worked great, and our teens enjoyed a few swings out back. We went to the Saloon across the way for dinner, which convenient with solid pub food.

Place was very clean, well organized, comfortable and very well maintained. Place is very spacious no clutter at all. Has many boardgames to use with family, hot tub and out doors furniture was very much appreciated. If visiting during snow season they have extra sleds which very much appreciated. Had a great time with my family and hope to be able to book again in the future

Trina’s place is SO pretty in the rooms, great quality comfy beds and blankets. The house is decorated with extraordinary taste and so cozy. The kitchen is on the hall way and pretty tight with pretty old cabinets and drawers, but the pots and pans are also of great quality. The only challenge is there’s no dishwasher so next time if we stay we probably will not try to cook in that kitchen. I love the water filter ready for use there, one of the most important must haves for our family.

Fully updated cabin, very nicely decorated and peaceful. One of the best Air bnb I’ve stayed at, the hosts thought of everything. Kitchen had extra supplies in case you forgot anything. Upstairs had games and toys for our kids to keep entertained. They even got a brand new bar b q for guests, we didn’t get to end up using it but it’s still a nice feature for future guests. Thankyou again for making our vacation enjoyable

Jenneke is a great host! This place was very tidy and comfortable with great games for my kids. The kitchen was well appointed and I really appreciated the espresso machine. Would definitely come stay again.
