Private cottage overlooking Doolin Cliffs

Myles’s gorgeous home is a little slice of heaven. This was one of our stops on an epic, 3.5 week, 3-generations family trip, and the home was simply a perfect stop for all of us. Plenty of peace and quiet…wide open space…sky full of stars at night…even cows staring at us sipping our morning coffee in the backyard (to the sheer delight of my 3 kids, who spent a good deal of our stay just standing at the fence trying to perfect their own “moos” to communicate with them). Even though it seems isolated, it’s a quick and easy trip to so many spots (Doolin Cave was a highlight, and the little town of Doolin was adorable—our teen was also obsessed with the Doolin Pitch and Putt for golf). Myles has left an excellent folder with recommendations at the house, and everything from booking to several shifting dates to a gracious additional checkout time was smooth, efficient, and, most importantly, kind. I wish we’d had more time to soak it all in, but hope very much to return.

Karen is engaging and friendly. she allowed us to use her washer and dryer. we really loved the big blue chair that was in that room. the location was perfect for getting to doolin and the cliffs and the ferry out to the islands.

Had a lovely stay. Nice clean room in a quiet location close to nearby attractions. Great breakfast and the cats are so adorable and friendly. Gabi is a wonderful host with a wealth of stories and knowledge about the area, her recommendations really enriched my trip. Highly recommend!

Cabin by the Cliffs of Moher

We cannot recommend this enough! idyllic location close to Lahinch. excellent views, and the place was quiet and spotlessly clean. Milo the dog is a very good boy also and was so patient with my grumpy bitch Malibu. Excellent value for money, will hopefully be back in the future! the host is so helpful and there was a lovely little welcome book with recommendations for the local area. Thank you so much Vanessa 😊

SeaView Wild Atlantic Pod

My husband an I had a wonderful time staying here. Only a short drive from the cliffs. This spot has breathtaking views and is extremely well-kept. We were happy to get a morning from Bob, their golden doodle, in the morning. FYI if you are getting in after 5- there aren’t many shops nearby so best to plan on going to a pub in town or bring snacks beforehand!

Nellie Dee's 1 Twin Ensuite Room (ROOM ONLY)

KathiRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great stay at Loraine’s. Both she and her husband, Jimmy were wonderful and friendly. The room and beds (we stayed in the twin room) were very comfortable. We were provided with tea and milk, and Loraine even gave us some of her own milk when we ran out. The place was quiet even though there were others staying. The sitting area was a nice place to have our tea when we came back for the night. We really appreciated being able to walk to the restaurants as it was a bank holiday weekend and we didn’t have to worry about where to park. And it was a good way to get some exercise. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!
