Kathleen’s place is set in the most beautiful location with views of the mountains. The great big enclosed was perfect for our dog who didn’t want to leave it! Our break wasn’t long enough, so will definitely be back to explore more!

We had a lovely short break at Edel’s home and it was truly wonderful. The house was thoughtfully equipped for families with young children which made for a very relaxing stay! The views were absolutely stunning, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Edel was a responsive and attentive host, even sending us a thoughtful reminder to catch the beautiful sunset. Highly recommended!

Rosie's Cottage * Wild Atlantic Way *

LaurenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The space is excellent - homely and cosy yet with plenty of room. The open fire is great for cooler evenings. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need. There’s also a sunroom on the side of the house which is lovely and bright if it’s not warm enough to sit outside. The cottage is close to beautiful beaches and there are a few shops nearby if you need groceries or fuel. We would definitely stay again!

Thatched cottage near surfing beach

KateRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Rita’s thatched cottage is a very special place to stay. The house is spacious, unique, v comfortable house and beds and cosy with underfloor heating, and an open fire. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a bath and shower. The surroundings and its location are in a gorgeous part of Donegal for drives and I imagine the handiness to the beach is great for surfers. I would highly recommend.

Sunset Cottage Fanad Head

NormaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We choose this cottage due to the downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms as one of our party has a disability and this worked really well for him. One bedroom has an ensuite and the other two bedrooms share the main bathroom (no other ensuite as mentioned in the description). Two of the beds are a bit on the small size for us, but we were able to sleep separately in the two rooms which were available. We were blessed with lovely weather therefore able to watch the sunset over the sea in the evening which was breathtaking. There was a fabulous food hamper waiting for us. Michael, the host made us most welcome and recommended the Narrow Quarter Bar & Bistro in Kerrykeel. Good recommendation as the food was amazing, but you need to book as it is very popular. I have marked down for cleanliness as the freezer was completely frozen over and we could not use it. We would definitely return to this cottage purely for its views, rugged and remote location. I

The Byre

NicoleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We immediately felt extremely comfortable! The cottage is beautiful, well equipped, nestled in the beautiful countryside, exudes enormous tranquility. Damian is the best host you could wish for: friendly, generous, responsive to all wishes - like with friends! The view all around is balm for the soul. The location allows many wonderful excursions in all directions. The cottage was cozy, very new, modern and rebuilt and expanded with a lot of care by Damian himself. Everything was super clean. The beds are comfortable. The heating warmed pleasantly. The outdoor terrace is awesome. Washer and dryer a plus. Check in was very easy. Thank you for all the gifts, milk, eggs, bread, coffee, butter, … even sugar-free jam. Looking forward to seeing you again!

Mountain View Cottage - Luxury & Amazing Views

JaneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This was an absolute gem of a place. The mountain scenery is breathtaking. Brian was a superb host who was friendly, helpful and very responsive. He was very helpful with tips on places to go nearby. The house was extremely comfortable, homely and very clean. Brian had thought of everything including small details such as providing charging cables for phones by each bed. It has everything you need for a relaxing stay. We cooked a lot and the kitchen had all the equipment you need plus the Mountain View of course! There was even a speaker you could connect to for music which was great. Even if the weather isn’t good you can still enjoy the ever changing views of the mountains, the mist coming down and the sunsets. If you want peace and quiet this is the perfect place to stay. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Scenic Donegal Farmhouse: Your Peaceful Escape

AidanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Beautiful 3 bed cottage with plenty of room for us and our 5 young children. The bedrooms were a good size with really nice ensuites and a handy small bathroom by the front door. The kitchen was gorgeous and had everything we needed. Two living spaces with big TVs so we could unwind and light the fire if we wanted. We chatted to Sean and Joe who own the farms and we even got to see some new lambs. The kids loved it. We stayed 8 nights and drove around the sights of Donegal. It is a good base, 10 mins from Letterkenny and near all the main attractions. Glen Veagh was about 15 min drive too.

Stylish 4 bedroom cottage with indoor wood stoves

CiaraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Kevin was a great host and made us feel at home right away with local Irish soda bread, jam and butter! The kitchen was well stocked with lots of basic ingredients and spices, great selection of appliances and utensils, and a very open design plan. The views from the master bedroom and kitchen are stunning and the bathrooms were beautiful! Beds were comfy and the books and movie selections made for very cozy evenings at home. We took several long walks through the beautiful countryside from our house, and enjoyed driving around the local towns. We had a steep learning curve driving on Irish country roads, but we got the hang of it and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Kevin's recommendations for local restaurants, hikes, and things to do were spot on! We had a great time at the Corner Bar for drinks and live, local music one night, and had a great breakfast at the Courthouse Bakery. Absolutely fantastic stay in Donegal!

Lena's Lodge - luxury to suit 8 with 2 bathrooms

MeredithRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had such a fantastic stay! The house was just as described and worked perfectly for our group of 6 people. The surroundings are quiet and serene. It's just a short walking distance from downtown Muff, where we found the locals to be quite friendly and welcoming. Muff Liquor, The Squealing Pig, and Tank and Skinny's were all places we visited. We would definitely book with this host again!

Inish Way Apartment 2

DervlaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Our stay at apartment 2 was absolutely wonderful, Aaron answered all of my questions before booking and the check-in process was seamless with Aaron meeting us there to show us around. The ground floor apartment is beautifully decorated, a great size and has all of the amenities you could need for a self catering stay. The location is fabulous, picturesque views and a quiet area but within walking distance too a wonderful park and driving distance to lots of attractions. The real star of the stay was the outdoor amenities, the hot tub was fabulous, the sauna was excellent and the BBQ and seating area were such a lovely surprise! Honestly we cannot wait to book again and have already planned to come back with family, thank you for a wonderful stay.

Donegal Farmhouse

Hazel & EricRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We were a family of two humans and three puppers. We all loved our stay at Bridie’s and wished we could have stayed for much longer than four nights. The house is an authentic Irish farmhouse set on a beautiful quiet country road. Beds were very comfy & we were constantly delighted to waken to the sound of Cuckoo calling from across the valley. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed to enjoy some home cooked meals and Bridie had set the stove in the kitchen as well as the open fire in the sitting room, should we have needed them. Thankfully we had glorious weather so no need for a comforting turf fire to soothe the soul this week. :-) The house is in a perfect location to explore Glenveagh National Park, the many spectacular mountains, Horn Head and the stunning sandy beaches of North West Donegal. We were totally thrilled to have spotted two Golden Eagles soaring along the mountain ridges above The Poisoned Glen. All in all, Bridie’s place was perfect for us.

Fern Cottage in Heart of Donegal

AnneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Fern Cottage is in a lovely location with a fantastic view from the front door. The location is very quiet with only the sounds of bird song and sheep bleating - very peaceful. The cottage is very well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is ideal for visiting all of Donegal's beautiful beaches and the journey back to the cottage through the mountain passes is spectacular. Gartan Lough which is very close to the cottage is also a lovely place to visit. Thank uou to Margaret and family.
