Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Domme

We absolutely loved staying at this cute, clean place. It was really nicely decorated, free of clutter, everything was new and comfy, but the best thing was the view, deck, and hot tub. Oh, and the frogs at night. Just the sweetest piece of country land to be found. The beds were amazing, linens were great. Honestly, nothing to say other than I will and would book this place again. If you're looking for a beautiful night sky, hot tub under the stars, and a great home to call home, this is it. Great host, too :)

If you are looking for a big beautiful house for a family holiday, look no further! This house is spacious, beautifully decorated, located in a quiet countryside but only ten minute drive to a big supermarket. We enjoyed the indoor pool, outdoor Jacuzzi and playing boules. Photos don’t do the house justice. It exceeded our expectations. Would recommend staying here and we would not hesitate to stay again. Lise was very responsive in her communication. We drove through the night to get to the house and Lise kindly offered us a one off earlier check in, which we were grateful for.

This was a return to the Dordogne after a 25 year absence and it did not disappoint. It was a treat to stay in Ben’s wonderful property so close to the chateau at Beynac. The interior has been thoughtfully restored, remaining entirely in character with such a historic building but providing modern convenience. Its elevated position on the hillside is perfect for taking in the views and we especially enjoyed the terrace tucked at the back of La Maisonette which looks straight down and along the river. Thank you Ben - we had a great time.

Wish we could have stayed longer. It is a charming place and unlike many Airbnbs it isn't all Ikea - really nice touches everywhere. The kitchen is really well-equipped and a real dining room table was lovely. The beds were comfy, the towels very high-quality, the wifi was good - The roses outside the windows were a treat. We had a car so there are many things to do within a very short distance but Montfort itself is small and darling- with a good restaurant down the street. Would love to return sometime.

A gorgeous old stone house with chic updates. We only used 3 bedrooms and they were all comfortable with modern baths. Many places to gather, especially outside. The living room was lovely and welcoming. The farnhouse kitchen was very well supplied. The pool house was to die for and we had cocktails and even dinner there one evening. The views! Gorgeous, with castles and hot air balloons. The hosts live on site and were delightful when we ran across them but very discreet. It definitely felt like “our” property. Nothing negative to say, and we were blessed with fabulous weather! It’s in the heart of the must see towns along the Dordogne, with many restaurants and sights within 5-10 minutes. Very good stay with Thierry in a very nice setting, great accommodation and quiet. Close to all the tourist attractions of the region, about twenty minutes at most! Thank you again for hosting us!

Our family spent a wonderful four days in Jean-Christophe's place, and we were very sad to leave. The garden and the view of the chateau are gorgeous, and we took good advantage of the walking trails through the woods. The house had everything we needed and we were very comfortable, especially with the wood fire. The village is very small, but it is an easy drive to Sarlat and some of the most beautiful towns in Dordogne, as well as the many painted caves in the Vézère Valley. Highly recommended as a quiet retreat and as a home-base to explore the region.

Treat yourself to staying at Frédérique’s home. She and Martine did everything they could possibly do to make our stay easy and enjoyable. We loved walking the hills and taking in the incredible views from this beautiful village. The restaurant La Petite Tourelle was a 2 minute walk down and a lovely dining experience. Don’t miss it! Beynac was a great spot from which to visit other quaint small villages by car and also Lascaux IV was a 45 minute drive away. We felt very at home during our stay! Thank you Frédérique and Martine!

The perfect place for a couple to stay in the centre of old town Sarlat. Christophe was incredibly communicative and accommodating!

Would definitely return to this beautiful city and wonderful accomodation! Highly recommend this house- perfect for my husband, daughter, and 2 year old granddaughter! Room for more too! Loved it!!! Location amazing!

The location was excellent - very quiet and secure, bolangerie and casino supermarket across the road, parking downstairs, and literally 100m from the centre. The bed was comfortable, shower hot, spacious and excellent living area/kitchen. The only downside was two flights of stairs - not easy for some, but fine for us. Would definitely stay again.

Thank you to Xavier and his wife Vero for the more than exceptional welcome. The service is much more than at the meeting, beers cooled, towels ready. We also thank them for the time they spent with us while respecting our privacy. It's simple, if you're hesitating, don't hesitate any longer!!!

We throughly enjoyed our stay. We were met by Laurent's colleague who showed us how to lock the door from the inside. We didn't realize that locking the door from the outside (and unlocking it) would be such a challenge. But Laurent and his wife were readily available both times we needed instructions. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. In addition to the Nespresso, we appreciated the electric coffee maker with filters provided so we could make a pot of coffee. What stood out- 2 towels plus face cloth per person, the terrace, and a typewritten booklet by the owner with specific info in French and English about the apartment and area. Highly recommend this apartment and we would definitely stay again!

The location was great! Right in the middle of the old town close to shops, restaurants, and the market. Very charming place & well stocked!

We had a great time in Sarlat-la-Caneda. the apartment is close to many restaurants and shops. Eliette met us at the apartment and she had excellent recommendations for exploring the area. It was really fun communicating with Eliette via her translator app!

Beautiful quiet apartment, very well equipped and nicely decorated, very clean, a parking space. On a stopover, we had two relaxing nights there (on the way there and back). Beautiful view from the living room of a beautiful valley. Very friendly welcome from our guests. Practical side, takeaway pizzas in the village 5 min away. I recommend it.

Stephanie was a fantastic host who was a pleasure to meet and taking the time to tell us about all the local places to visit and her apartment was ideally located for walking into Sarlat town centre in just a couple of minutes and it was a very enjoyable 3 day stay, thanks David and Teresa

Location is a gated community that has a mix of residents and rentals. Beautiful countryside view. close to town. 4 minute drive to Carrefour grocery store. Steep hill down to town would be challenging for some walkers. There were a number of stone outside steps up to the apartment level. Very clean inside the apartment with comfy beds. Water power in upstairs toilette was weak. Overall a great choice in Sarlat.

Sandrine and Pascal were very responsive to questions before booking. Pascal welcomed us with friendliness to this accommodation which perfectly matches the description given in the listing. 5 minutes from the historic center of Sarlat, this tastefully decorated apartment has all the comforts you need for a "cozy" stay at Sandrine and Pascal's. We would come back for a future stay in this beautiful Périgord Noir.

Sarlat was special to us! With Christmas approaching, it was complete. The city is small but charming! The Christmas market, very cheerful and welcoming, made a place in our hearts! It was a great place to choose and visit numerous sites in the region. The apartment is exactly as described. The cost-benefit was valuable to us. If I had known Sarlat before, as well as the apartment, I would spend Christmas there! It would have been magical! Thanks host! I'll be back if the world doesn't end first!
