Unique Dutch Miller’s House

This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

House of 100 years old is under the mill and is cozy and cozy. A 5-minute walk will take you to the centre of Alkmaar. Rent a boat and see Alkmaar from the water. In the street behind the cottage is a beautiful, large playground the “OKB”. The bus stops in front of the door. Paid parking in the area and just across the house. Free parking is within walking distance. Downtown: a 5-minute walk away Beach: 30 min by bike/min 15 by car Two bicycles for use at the cottage.

The home has a spacious (40m2) and cozy garden. This is on the south, and here you can enjoy the sun when you return from your visit to the city of Alkmaar or the beautiful beach. Cozy family house (4 bedrooms) for 8 people in Alkmaar. A warm family house where we live ourselves if it is not rented. Equipped with luxury kitchen with coffee machine, sunny garden (ZW) with BBQ. Free parking, station is a 5-minute walk away. The beautiful Alkmaar is a 20-minute walk, by car is beach 15 and forest is 10 minutes away. Amsterdam can be reached in 40 min by train. Not suitable for parties.
