Mark was an excellent host. He was proactive in regard to accessing the property and asked well ahead of time about our preferences in relation to food items he provided. The kitchen was well supplied with utensils and provisions ( one of the best 'welcome packs' we have had - milk, wine, grapes, bread, cheese, tomatoes, jam ). And lovely to have an induction cooktop. There was an ample supply of maps, brochures and books about the local area and the wider Cotswolds. The dining table looked out over a lovely back garden. A comfortable bed in a good sized bedroom. All in all a very comfortable stay and a great host. The home is in the 'suburbs' of Winchcombe making it easy to access with a car from all directions and it is only a 10-15 minute walk into town. But it is in a modern estate, not classic old Cotswolds stone if that is important.

This place is exactly as described - a perfect bolthole. Jayne's directions made it easy to find and once we arrived we were absolutely thrilled with how quiet and cosy the space is. The decor is beautiful and super-classy, the kitchen and bathroom small but really well thought out. The bed is EXCEPTIONALLY comfortable and such a treat to be able to have morning coffee in bed looking out into the trees. Lovely touch to have tea, coffee, milk and biscuits waiting for us and we made good use of the 'Rough Guide' as a way more fun way to learn about the area than the internet. The Plough down the road is even better than the other reviews say! Phenomenal food and extremely welcoming service. A cold beer in that beautiful garden, watching a red kite soar overhead - I challenge you to have a more relaxing evening. All in all, this is a perfect alternative to a B&B for exploring the Cotswolds - we loved it. Thank you.

This is a lovely place. One of the best Airbnb's we have stayed in. Very clean all round, good location. The view from balcony is a bonus. We visit this area at least once a year and will try to stay next time.

A really lovely little hut to stay in, such a beautiful location and Christine was the perfect host. She gave us lots of suggestions for walks and activities and was there whenever we needed! Definitely a great visit.
