Its a nice mix of work and play. If you are looking for a hideout working holiday spot, Sunset Paradise wont disappoint.

Amazing combination of cute cozy rooms with enough privacy, extremely close to the beach with more than enough space on the laying beds and at last a perfect restaurant where we ate all of our meals during the stay 😳. Because there were so many options to choose from for a good price, we didn’t even bother to go somewhere else. W’ill be back!

Kenyaways is so amazing. It's right on the water, the view is incredible, the staff is warm and helpful. Even the Little Shop (gift shop) has really pretty clothing that's made in Kenya. The food was good, the breakfast was great, we took a tuktuk to Kokko's in town for coffee which was delicious. Highly recommend getting a massage - super affordable and wonderful. We had such a blast.

Can highly recommend staying here, we had a sea view place with our own terrace and it was just magnificent. The beach was amazing, sun and shade. Staff very friendly, fresh drinking water every day, cool surf shop to learn and rent. Salty Squid Restaurant is a jewel! The food super delicious, just the breakfast felt a little small - but for 1,2 USD you could just add whatever you felt was missing - very fair! In a nutshell: we loved it!

Very nice place, everything gets easy on the beach. The food at Salty Squid is amazing, especially the crab burger ;) Alex and Emmanuel have been good hosts, always keen to help us with good recommendations. Would love to be back one day.

This place is a little bite of heaven. Beautiful room and huge bathroom. Amazing, clean and cool little pool. Great internet. Great security. Kind and helpful staff. Beautiful gardens (that huge baobab tree 😍). Excellent breakfast. Great balconies and terrasse to see shadow and just hang out. When you want beach you just walk 10 min and rent a chair in a secure hotel on the beach. I highly recommend this place

Staying with Ann was beautiful. Communication in advance with Ann went smoothly and also during the stay Ann was there to help and advise you, among other things, with tips on how to rent sun loungers on the beach or order a tuk tuks, as we did not have an African mobile phone number. The beach was within walking distance. Breakfast was a surprise every day except for a freshly squeezed juice and a big fruit cellar, as there was never the same thing. Drinking water was also available for free.

We were well taken care of by Alex, Jane, and Elisa. They helped us with a smooth check-in. We had to leave early, and they kindly offered us packed breakfasts (though we were too sleepy to remember to take them). December is the rainy season in Kenya, so there are more mosquitoes, and hotel prices are higher due to the increased number of tourists traveling for the Christmas holidays. This time, I felt our room was a bit small for two people, making it feel slightly overpriced. My friend seemed to be the mosquitoes’ new favorite, getting bitten a lot. The housekeeping ladies took good care of us and helped reduce the mosquitoes in our room.We met a lovely friend during our stay, which added to our experience. The beachfront is beautiful, and breakfast includes juice, coffee/tea, fruits, and a selection of dishes, making it a perfect start to the day. There is also a shared kitchen available for use. Regarding security, the staff puts in effort, and their service made us feel safe.

This was by far my favorite Diani location to date - great value and so cool to meet staff who takes care of guest like they are family. Brilliant breakfast as well and new towels, duvets and spacious bathroom were much appreciated

One of our best stays ever with Airbnb and certainly the best stay during our Kenya trip. The hosts Anne and Godzilla are highly experienced and professional. We had great conversations about Diani, Kenya and life with Anne. Godzilla (Freddi) is an awesome cook and even better 9 ball pool player. Stay, Food, Swimming pool, Garden everything was perfect and better than expectations. Anne and Freddi were kind enough to take us out for drinks and dinner. Our best wishes to Anne and Godzilla!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Zarafa house, and it exceeded all my expectations! The property itself was impeccably maintained, with a private pool that became my daily retreat—perfect for cooling off after lounging on the beach. The host was incredibly welcoming, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. The amenities were top-notch, including high-speed Wi-Fi, comfortable furniture, free water, prebookable meals making it easy to relax locally when I wasn’t out exploring. One of the standout features was the breakfast. Every morning, a freshly prepared spread of local fruits, and hot dishes was served in the poolside dining area, providing the perfect start to my day. The combination of great food, a tranquil atmosphere, and the stunning beach just steps away made this the ultimate getaway. Whether you're seeking relaxation or adventure, this air bnb has it all. I cant recommend enough and definitely will be back soon!

its ok

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Nora's. The room was very clean and the bathroom is very spacious with 2 large windows. The breakfast is very filling and delicious. The only con was that the wifi didn't work properly in the room. So if you wann get good reception you'll have to sit in the common area or around the pool. which was absolutely fine for me. The poolside is very relaxing and quiet.

Paul’s house was very nice. I enjoyed the amenities and the staff was superb. The only issue was the bed which was very firm and the sheets were a bit scratchy. Both things are partial to my opinion. My husband actually loved the firmness of the bed. Also, we did not have hot water during our stay. We did not get to utilize the pool as we arrived after dark each night and there was not enough light to see while swimming. Otherwise, the stay was amazing and I would definitely recommend this place as a prime spot to spend quality time with friends and family.

This place is grate quiet and green nice to spend some time in Diani. Backpackers are welcome! And the owner is a nice guy he took care of me while I was sick!
