Entire Guest House, Rural Retreat, Stanton Drew

ChristinaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Cute property, clean, no direct access to the hot tub area but it is just across the driveway and is very secluded so wasn't a problem. Downstairs rooms slightly damp feel but then again it is a very old building so didn't bother us much. Very well connected to Bath and Bristol.

The Lodge - Cosy cottage & Hot tub nr Bristol city

ShalayneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Charming and quaint - a great place for families to stay near the Cotswolds. We had a few hiccups on our trip due to things out of our control but the host was super kind and did what she could to make it a great experience for us. The cottage is well kept and has good spaces (bathroom was nice and updated as well as the kitchen) and the bedrooms worked great to fit our family. All in all, I'd recommend a stay here!

Stable Cottage Peaceful Country Escape nr Bath

DeliaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I recently stayed at Stable Cottage and it was a delightful experience. The cottage itself was set in the beautiful grounds of the main house and it was spotless and well-equiped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. One of my two young boys' favourite parts was the outdoor space. They had access to a climbing frame, swings and a trampoline, which in their eyes, was the best! Debbie, our host, was friendly, responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely peaceful weekend away at the cottage and would certainly stay again.

We stayed at the Cattle Byre for our first wedding anniversary - and first trip away with our puppy, Winston, too! The property was finished to a very high standard and had everything we needed for our stay; it felt like a home away from home. The welcome biscuits and bottle of bubbles was a special touch too! Gorgeous location, very peaceful and perfect for a relaxed break away. We’ll definitely be back!

Peaceful South facing cottage in Cotswolds. UK,

AnitaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a fabulous stay at Peter and Victoria’s Coombe Cottage. We truly could not have asked for a better arrangement and setting. The cottage sits on the crest of a hill overlooking the lush landscape below. The cottage itself had all we needed; a comfortable seating, comfortable bed, and the shower was great. The Farm Store just outside Wotten has great meals, simple to prepare at the cottage for the evenings that we didn’t want to eat out. The only disappointment was that we couldn’t spend more time getting to know Peter and Victoria as they left for a trip shortly after we arrived. They are a lovely couple that live in the main house adjacent to the cottage.

Lovely 400 yr old terraced house splendidly restored & very comfortable - good bed/ furniture/small well equipped galley kitchen/ good shower bathroom. Staircases very steep but safe if used sensibly. Bathroom & bedroom both on first floor. Need to descend to ground floor & ascend stairs up again to reach which is fine for the sprightly. John a good host re communications/ local info. No probs as guests so didn't meet him personally. Quirky & comfortable stay. Would recommend. Pretty Marlborough a good base for walkers & those interested in 3,500 bc to Jacobean history & beyond. Good eateries too.

The Cobblers, detached retreat near Bath & Bristol

ShelaghRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Cobblers is a really lovely place to stay - the accommodation was perfect in every respect - clean, bright, tastefully furnished, and providing everything you could possibly need. The view of the garden from the lounge is beautiful, and sitting on the decking at the end of the day (with a glass of wine!) was relaxing and peaceful. The kitchen is really well equipped and the bathroom is sparkling, with a great shower and big, soft towels. Very comfortable bed and plenty of wardrobe space. Teresa was the perfect host - she responded promptly whenever we made contact in advance of our stay, and welcomed us in person when we arrived. There were "starters" of butter and milk in the fridge, and a selection of breakfast cereals and jams. A very nice touch. All in all, one of the best (if not THE best) places we have stayed!

Charming, country cottage near Bath.

StaceyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Julia’s cottage was wonderful for our family’s stay. We had 3 adults, ons child and a baby in the crib. It was a little tight with all of us but the place was very comfortable and well equipped for our stay. The area is lovely and my girls enjoyed wandering around visiting the farm animals. Julia provided helpful instructions and everything was easy and smooth. Would definitely recommend especially for a family of 3 or 4.
