Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Desert Hot Springs

This was such a great place to stay. A stylish, well equipped & well loved home in a really special location. Highly recommended. The only downside for us was the full moon that spoiled the star gazing!

Very well designed home with enough amenities to stay and enjoy the place without leaving. It felt like a spa without the massages. Only problem was getting Netflix to work on the projector.

The most beautiful home on Airbnb! The natural landscape was absolutely breathtaking with endless wildlife sightings from coyotes, jackrabbits and so much more. The home itself is exquisite from the kitchen, bedroom and luxury bath. It was a hot 108 degrees during our visit, but the house kept us nice and cool without any issues. WiFi is super fast and not glitchy at all! Surprising because you really feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. The entire home and decor was clean with intentional touches. Check-in was a breeze. Thank you, Andrew. It was truly exquisite.

Our 2nd time spending a vacation here did not disappoint. Kids enjoyed the game room along with the arcade games in their room. Steve is very responsive and friendly with all inquiries. Another family vacation in the books. Thank you!

We had a great stay! The place was very clean and exactly as advertised. It was incredibly spacious for our group of six, with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and the amenities were excellent, especially the pool, which we really enjoyed. The location was also convenient and close to everything we wanted to do. The only minor issue was that it was a bit challenging to cool down the main house with the A/C. That said, the host was amazingly accommodating and communicative throughout our stay, which made a big difference. Overall, a fantastic experience and we’d definitely recommend!

We had the most wonderful weekend getaway at this Pioneertown gem! The house was exactly as described, beautifully designed, contemporary, and clean. It was easy to access with clear, thoughtful instructions that made check-in a breeze. The pool and surrounding landscape were absolutely stunning, and we loved how peaceful and private everything felt. Watching hummingbirds, rabbits, and baby quail in the mornings was pure magic. Pet-friendly and perfectly relaxing, this was just the escape from LA we needed.

I celebrated my bachelorette trip here with my closest friends and it was perfection! It was cozy enough for us to relax, watch our shows, cook meals, and get rest at night. There was also plenty for us to do between the pool, sauna, hot tub, and living room space. With us being a bunch of girls, we felt super safe and like we had enough space to feel secluded. The views were amazing and Anastasiya was super responsive and friendly! We had an amazing time and already want to plan another girls trip here!

This was our 4th visit to Legacy Villas and we were once again, not disappointed. Our listing was exactly as we expected and we were very happy about the cleanliness and quality of the rooms. We love staying here and the service of CA Vacation Villas. We're definitely coming back!

Beautifully decorated condo in a well maintained complex. The host was very easy to communicate with. The condo is located within easy walking distance to the main pool etc as well as another smaller pool. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

Christy’s place was perfect. As soon as we walked in we noticed it smelled great & how beautifully decorated it was. Amenities are great. Comfy bed, Smart TVs, snacks, candy, towels, pool accessories and they even have a hair diffuser for us curly haired girls. Bonus: this was my first Airbnb that had actual spices other than salt to cook!!!! The property is great. Quiet. Calm. Pool & jacuzzi right outside the patio. We didn’t want to leave. Christy was a great host and easy to communicate with. Look forward to staying here again soon.

Jay's place was honestly, perfect. The complex is lovely and charming. Jay's unit was clean and pristine. And Jay was an excellent host and communicator. I felt so at peace in the unit and at the complex and enjoyed the quiet environment - and at the same time the ability to get to anything I needed within just a few minutes by car. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for an enjoyable stay in the Palm Springs area. Thanks for a great stay, Jay!

Good location, clean and functional. I do think the room could be a bit more charming. The decor is quite sterile and it reads more like a hotel room with a kitchenette than an Airbnb which are usually homey. That being said, it was a bargain price and did match the pictures.

With extremely little to no light pollution, Inge and Fred’s listing was the absolute perfect, secluded place we could’ve picked for our last minute trip to stargaze and catch the milky way! I loved how they anticipated and provided us with clear directions and tips so we were able prepare and find our way to and around the studio with absolute no issue. The studio was very clean, well thought out, and so so cozy, we really couldn’t have asked for anything more. The outdoor space is nicely sectioned off with a grill and lounger chairs offering total privacy and the most breathtaking views of the night sky and sunrise. I would definitely stay again and am in fact looking forward for the next opportunity to do so!

This place was perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. Britta has thought of everything you could possibly need and more! The grounds were very well maintained and it was quiet. The pool was perfect temperature and we often had it to ourselves. I highly recommend this place and hope to return.

Absolutely LOVED our stay at this beautiful Airbnb in Palm Springs! From the moment we walked in, we could feel the care and intention that went into the space. It was spotlessly clean, incredibly modern, and so well-kept. We’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnbs over the years, but this one really stood out. You can tell the hosts truly care, every detail was thoughtfully curated, from the decor to the layout, and everything just felt fresh, airy, and welcoming. It was the kind of place where you walk in and immediately say, “Wow, this is even better than the photos!” The vibe was equal parts relaxing and stylish...the perfect mix for a Palm Springs getaway. We found ourselves wanting to spend more time at the house than we originally planned, just because it was that lovely. Whether we were lounging around, cooking meals, or just enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and will DEF be back.

Very pleased with our stay here! This rental was exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway to the desert! The outdoor space is quiet and super-private. We never saw or heard any neighbors, but watched hummingbirds spar overhead as we lounged by the pool. The pool is clean and perfect for floating all afternoon, looking out at the mountains. The spa is a great way to relax under the stars after dinner. The location was great. Close enough to downtown to be a quick drive when hot, or a reasonable stroll when it's cooler. And I appreciated being able to talk an early morning jog around the area. We didn't spend much time indoors, but it's a light, airy, and comfortable space. The kitchen is up-to-date and well-appointed. Communication with the hosts and their assistant was friendly, transparent, and proactive. Very nice people! We will gladly rent this place again when we return to PS for a desert getaway! Highly recommended!

This was the perfect place for my partner and I to spend our anniversary weekend. There were so many wonderful restaurants downtown to choose from, it was incredibly quiet and peaceful, where we stayed, and Jerry and Craig were incredibly responsive and respectful. One thing I would point out is, if you are not a gay man, or a woman celebrating her bachelorette party, the party scene is pretty underwhelming . Aside from that, I’d definitely stay in this exact spot again.

Most courteous and responsive hosts. 5 star service. Our pool closed for an unforeseen repair. We communicated with the host and immediately received paid day passes to a great fully serviced (cocktails & food) pool less than a block from our property. We did not have to ask. Our host was amazing. Our pool reopened and we throughly enjoyed the enormous pool and lovely accommodation. House was spotless and well appointed. I will definitely rent again!

We loved staying in this fabulous condo at the iconic Ocotillo Lodge, designed by famed midcentury modern architect William Krisel. Although the once spectacular public rooms at the Lodge are now shuttered, the grounds have been beautifully restored with cactus and succulents, and the large landmark champagne-cork shaped pool is beautifully maintained, serenaded (quietly) through the day with delightful recordings of classic Great American Songbook music of the 50's. The Brite Spot condo itself has been wonderfully decorated with handsome vintage furniture and lighting, a very comfortable bed, and beautiful terrazzo tile floors, and boasts a lovely little courtyard with a great old olive tree that throughout the day hosts various singing desert birds. The Lodge no longer has a working bar or restaurant, but coffee, cocktails, great food, and the sights and attractions of Palm Springs - including Krisel's justly famed Twin Palms community - are all just minutes away.

My mom and I had such a wonderful stay in this Palm Springs home, it truly made our first visit & Mother’s Day weekend even more special. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep, and the A/C kept us cool all weekend, even with the desert heat. The host was very responsive and helpful, which made everything smooth and easy. I’d absolutely love to stay here again on my next visit to Palm Springs!

Great apartment for a vacation in Palm Springs. Super clean, well-stocked kitchen and amazing pool with lounge chairs and umbrellas with views of the mountains. Steve was also a fantastic host. I would come back again!
