Cosy guest suite in Clare

We had a Wonderful Stay. The Annexe is strategically located in beautiful and peaceful Clare, just a short drive away from many beautiful villages and towns. The apartment is the perfect size for a couple or a family - we visited with our baby and we could not have wished for a better place to stay. Well equipped with virtually anything you will ever need on a short stay. Molly and Anna took good care of us and even provided an extra duvet for the cot. Very much recommended and we look forward to staying again

Such a beautiful place to stay, the grounds and surroundings were stunning. So peaceful and had everything we needed. Only a 15 min drive to Cambridge and was nice to stay a little bit further out to appreciate both the countryside and the town. Was a lovely weekend, thank you! xx

I stayed at Helena's place for 3 nights with my elderly father, to visit friends and family in Suffolk. Helena was really helpful, responsive and kind right from the start to the end of our stay. She greeted us on arrival, showed us the place and left us to enjoy the peace and quiet but always available if needed. The stable conversion is spacious, warm and comfortable, making us feel relaxed and at home as soon as we walked in. Kitchen is well equipped and there is a big SMEG fridge and freezer. We enjoyed breakfast made with eggs, bread, butter and milk Helena kindly provided (apples and chocolates too). I loved the natural light from the skylights. Wifi connection and TV with Amazon fire stick were good. There were books on the bookshelves and a pack of cards as well. Mattress, pillows and duvet were all clean, fluffy and comfortable. Our trip was enjoyable because of our restful and comfortable stay at Helena's place. Thank you. We will stay there if we come to Suffolk again.
A window framed by floral-patterned curtains offers a view of the expansive green fields and trees outside. A wooden fence is visible in the distance, contributing to the rural landscape that defines the surrounding area.

Almond Cottage Clare - 2 bedroom *dog friendly*

joannaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lovely cottage in a nice location. I grew up in Suffolk so was back visiting family, and bought my husband and in-laws with me. They loved exploring the area & I really enjoyed revisiting old haunts from my childhood! The cottage was really comfortable for all 4 of us, although a little snug for 4 adults in terms of dining / living area but we mainly used the cottage as a base & ate out so was great for this purpose. Welcome tray and milk in the fridge along with some goodies for our dog was really welcomed and a nice touch. We loved the SmallTown bakery just round the corner for excellent coffee and pastries/bread. Beds were comfortable, and everywhere smelt clean and fresh. Great location for Clare park where we walked the dog each morning. All in all a lovely relaxing stay, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or stay again! Thank you.
