Cottage vacation rentals in Deba

Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. One of my best experiences ever . Irati was absolutely superb from start to finish an excellent communicator and nothing was too much bother . The cottage was delight ful and the scenery was amazing . She even organised our taxi in and out of the city not to mention booking our tables at the restaurants we ate in . Out of 10 I would give her 11

Great place and very accommodating

From the second I booked the beautiful villa in Sunbilla with Carmen and José, they took great care of advising with best activities, supporting with arrival and providing a wonderful clean home with all necessary amenities. We especially loved the restaurant elotxuri and the lake in natural reserve. We would love to come back when the pool is open next time. Thank you Carmen and José!

Tranquility in the heart of nature. To enjoy as a family. Raúl took care of us very kindly. Even in a cold winter, we feel very comfortable and warm in that house.

The house is in perfect condition, well signposted when entering the village, very clean and with everything you need to enjoy a few days with family and/or friends. Amaia was always attentive and provided us with anything necessary. To put a ma, the Nespresso coffee maker didn't work, but having another filter coffee maker, we were able to arrange it. It would just be missing to include a pool for summer, and it would be perfect! 😊 We'll definitely be back. Thank you so much to the hosts for everything! Best regards

Fantastic hospitality the people of Catalan are very friendly and the property was amazing but you definitely need a car to stay here as there nothing around no shops

Wow, what great house. The location is absolutely stunning in a little village with beautiful mountain views. The house itself is great—they’ve done a great job renovating and the whole thing feels very new and fresh and clean. A perfect place for a peaceful escape. Great communication as well. I would definitely stay here again.

the house is great for groups (up to 30, I think they can fit in without problems) It has a large dining room, lots of dishes, a BBQ area and a large garden! the only thing is that the bathrooms are outside the rooms.

The accommodation and its hosts, exceptional. The house offers many possibilities to enjoy the outdoors, games and exceptional livability and comfort. It's worth spending enough time to enjoy both the house and the surroundings. The hosts are attentive at all times, very friendly and knowledgeable about the area to be able to make visits, excursions... Looking forward to repeating. Thank you for everything.

There were 12 of us and we were very comfortable. The game room is very nice and although we couldn't enjoy it much, the garden is spectacular.

Excellent stay of 4 days with friends in this house for the Biarritz half marathon. Sébastien is a great host, always very responsive and very flexible on arrival and departure times when possible. The house is as described, no surprises. I would recommend it without a second thought!

We had a wonderful stay, Delphine and her husband are very welcoming, the accommodation has more than necessary in terms of amenities, the outdoor area is very nice and peaceful, no noise, perfect quiet place to relax. Ideal location close to all the places of interest on the Basque coast (cities to visit, beaches within 15 minutes, Spain, etc.). We would definitely stay again and can only recommend this place :)

From day one, everything was perfect. The house was in excellent condition and very spacious. There were 14 of us and we could move around comfortably as if there were four of us The person who helped us there, Joaquina, was super friendly Recommended 100%.

In view of our late arrival, Christine had the delicate attention to leave a welcome light in the house. Christine was very nice. The house is nicely decorated and impeccably clean. We felt good there right away. The little extra: We had 2 bikes at our disposal.
