Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Death Valley

Our stay was fantastic. We were very comfortable, the place was just what we were looking for. There were four of us in town for a weekend class. The home offers the perfect balance of private and community space. The beds were very comfortable. The host was quick to respond to messages. The garage was a major bonus too.

Spacious home and property. The only thing we needed to buy was some briquettes for the BBQ, which is expected. Home is located half way between Death Valley and Las Vegas. (we visited both) Several local casinos nearby. OK restaurants nearby as well as a Walmart, Albertsons, etc. Pahrump can be windy and some areas see more dust than others. Definitely would visit again and do a little more exploring.

We felt right at home! Sarah and Jaime were responsive and accommodating. The location is great for road cycling; it's right at the base of Whitney Portal Road and Horseshoe Meadow Road, and a short jaunt from Onion Valley Road. The master bedroom looks right out at Mt. Whitney!

Wow! What a great place! The indoor pool was the best. It was so hot outside so being able to swim without sun and UV exposure was absolutely amazing. I have already recommended this place to friends for future adventures. ❤️

Checkers place was on the whirl side of town, which made it a little easier to get to death Valley national Park. About 50 minutes. It was super easy getting in and everything was as described.

This is a very nice rental. Every corner is fresh and spacious. It is very thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Upon entering you can instantly see, feel and smell how nice it is. The owner was a good communicator--quick to respond, easy-going and friendly. High recommend!

I felt really comfortable here - I’ve stayed twice, so obviously it worked very well for me. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped.

Everything was perfect only thing I would say was she mixed 2 numbers up in one of the codes but it is very easy to get it mixed up so I completely understand. Bedsides that perfect place would definitely recommend and come back!

I had a great experience staying for two weeks at Comely's lovely apartment. She had everything you could possibly want or need available - bottled water, tea, cleaning supplies, cooking necessities, even candles and air fresheners - at the ready. She answered my questions quickly and helped me get settled in once I arrived. The bed was comfy and so was the living room. I felt right at home. Others have mentioned the air conditioning noise - and it is unusually loud when it flips on. You need air conditioning in Las Vegas! But that was a very minor issue and certainly would not deter me from booking this lovely place again on my next trip to the area. Thank you, Comely!!

A more than adequate space, has everything you need. More than that AJ was very responsive to our needs. He had new bedsheets ready for the sofa bed, when we told him our coffeemaker wasn’t working, he immediately remedied the problem and brought a new one.

Privacy, privacy, privacy. Beautiful gated community within driving distance of any necessity you could possibly desire. Not right on top of the casino life but close enough to satisfy any Vegas vice you desire. Didn’t want to leave. 😎

Lissie was so sweet and helpful, she went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed. She greeted us when we first arrived and helped bring our bags in, I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Paul’s place was exactly as described , clean and comfortable. Modern decor and everything you’d need for a multiweek stay. Appreciated the black out shades and plush mattress a lot. If you want good value, this places hits all the bases. Communication was also superb, how you’d like it to be.

I really enjoyed my stay. Great location and a really nice bed and shower. Alexis was very responsive and the air bnb has everything you need. Great find if you are looking to stay away from the strip in a quiet neighborhood. I recommend a restaurant nearby called “Beso”

This was by far a convenient location and also perfect distance away from Las Vegas strip. We had a good time and very comfortable at this home!
