The Cottage House is centrally located to library and 1 1/2 miles from Riverfront. This 1930s home has hardwood floors, glass door knobs, and rounded entry ways. The kitchen has been remodeled with new appliances, cabinets and countertops. The upstairs bedroom is a large finished attic with its own heating and cooling system. We do allow pets for an additional one-time fee of $45 paid through Airbnb. No more than two dogs and we ask that animals not sleep or be on the beds.

We had a great visit to Owensboro. Lots to do there, went out to eat for one meal and it was great. Cooked at the house the rest of the time and we had what we needed. We traveled to Reo , Richland, and Bowling Green. Easy commutes. Would recommend it in the future.

This was a nice little place to stay! It felt very clean and was great for a night away. One thing I didn’t realize was that the bathroom is in one of the bedrooms. With Airbnb properties like Carlisla/Angie's space in Owensboro, it's no wonder we stay at hotels less and less these days. This Airbnb occupies the entire first floor within a well-maintained historical(?) larger house that is about 100 years old, but very cute and quaint. Crystal clean inside, and very responsive hosts! You can't go wrong here!

My stay extended over 9 months. During that time I had one minor maintenance issue that was handled immediately. Master bedroom had blackout curtains that are great for overnight workers. Location was great. Close to restaurants and shopping. Less than ten minutes to my job. But quiet enough to be able to sleep during the day. Kitchen is well equipped. Bed is very comfy. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again. My cats, Sheila and Lt Dan enjoyed their stay as well. Thanks Angela and Rachel

This home was exactly what we needed for the weekend! Beautifully decorated, clean, uncluttered, and the location felt like a safe and friendly neighborhood. Tonya left us some very nice local snacks and that was hugely appreciated when we got in late Friday night. Couldn't have asked for a better spot. We will definitely stay again next time we come to Owensboro!

I LOVED where we stayed. I was in the far back bedroom near the bathroom. The bed was so comfortable, and slept like a rock! My friends also said they slept well and we all spent a little bit of time hanging out in the living room. The seating was comfortable and the home was immaculate.
