Staying at Philippe’s place in Eisenschmitt felt like stepping into a Jane Austen novel—absolutely magical. The house is half of a beautifully preserved old building, with Philippe living in the other half. Every detail was chosen with care: a charming mix of antiques and modern touches, fresh flowers, and even a bottle of champagne to welcome us. Philippe was a wonderful host—present when needed, but always respectful of our privacy. The house sits next to a babbling creek, and it’s incredibly peaceful. We had access to half the yard, which our dog absolutely loved. Philippe is very dog-friendly—our dog had a big, comfy bed, a welcome treat, and plenty of space to run. We also really enjoyed the valley the village is set in—quiet and picturesque, with a beautiful hiking path leading to an old abbey and a lovely little bakery. It's also just a short drive to the Manderscheid castle or the nearby volcanic lakes (the Maare). A truly special place to relax and recharge.

Wonderful Family Stay! We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb with our family! The house was exactly as described—clean, spacious, and very well maintained. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, cozy bedrooms, and a relaxing living area and few board games for the games. The location was great—quiet and safe, yet close enough to local attractions. It was perfect for both relaxing and exploring the area. Our host was very responsive and thoughtful, providing clear instructions for check-in. This home made our family trip extra special, and we’d definitely love to come back. Highly recommend it for anyone traveling with family or in a group!

The house is a beautiful oasis and a good starting point for Eifel hiking. We enjoyed the tasteful design as well as the great cleanliness, the well-equipped kitchen with beautiful ceramic porcelain as well as the soothing relaxation in the sauna. The views of the surrounding nature were a pure invitation to slow down. In short: an all-round recommended domicile.

Absolutely beautiful house, photos don’t do it justice. Amazing host. Had the absolute best time, everything was clean and tidy and the area was lovely.

We were completely satisfied. Florian personally welcomed and introduced us. It is an entire house, where the heart of the house for us was the large bright conservatory with dining table and couch and in sunshine also the large balcony. If you like bright solid wood furniture like us, you will find its warm atmosphere in every room. We found everything freshly renovated and very clean. Bedroom, kitchen, conservatory and balcony go out to the garden, so we could enjoy the birdsong. You can walk or bike beautiful laps from the front door and some nice Eifel destinations are quickly accessible by car. The neighboring town of Hillesheim offers everything for everyday needs. Thank you Florian for the setting for a relaxing and varied vacation!

We spent 5 days with 2 couples in Christian's house and everything was perfect: very spacious, more than enough household goods, a beautiful garden and so much more. The owner and owner respect your privacy and ask after a while if everything is going well. The perfect approach for us. Don't hesitate to book here.

what a wonderful place to stay in spring with our family (children 4 and 7 years). can take beautiful walks in the immediate vicinity. supermarket 10 minutes of drive. Lovely large garden where the children could play freely. the house itself was also super, spacious, clean, two bathrooms, play area for the children upstairs. just very pleasant. Highly recommended for young families!

One of the best places I have stayed. Beautiful old building, very cosy, clean, extremely well equipped (there was absolutely nothing we missed), nice furniture, beautifully decorated. It felt like home. The calming river outside and the nice views completed the experience. Must be the nicest place in Monschau!

Martin & Gesine are extremely nice and have been really helpful during my stay. They are friendly and more than open to talk and help. They also speak English perfectly which facilitates communication and so I would definitely recommend staying here if you want a nice quiet getaway !

Many thanks to Esther and Dominik, the 4 of us felt very comfortable! Check-in was totally straightforward, the apartment is great and equipped with everything you could need. The furnishings are very tasteful, the view from the balcony/seating area is amazing, not to mention the in-house Riesling from the perfectly tempered wine cabinet! We had really nice quiet days in Pünderich and will be happy to come back if we can 😊

We had a wonderful, extended Easter weekend in Hillesheim. Our hostess Gabi surpassed herself. The communication was great, the apartment very nice and high-quality furnished, spic and span and quietly located. We were received personally and warmly by Gabi. There were many small surprises in the apartment and in the fridge. The Easter decoration was nice, but not intrusive. The apartment is quite large and you have plenty of space. The beautiful balcony is inviting for a cozy breakfast or coffee. The kitchen is superbly equipped, a filter coffee machine and capsule machine are available. There was even an egg puncher. The surroundings are diverse and the town of Hillesheim is centrally located to get to the northern Eifel or Volcanic Eifel. All in all it was a wonderful Easter weekend and much too short for us to see all the things we wanted to see. We recovered superbly and will definitely come back. Thank you!

Beautiful place and loads of hiking trail nearby. Perfect to find peace and nature

We had a good time with Julia and Norbert, we didn't miss anything. The region is perfect for people seeking tranquility and relaxation in nature. The Siebengebirge can be explored very well on its numerous forest and hiking trails by e-bike. A very special experience is the Dachenburg Castle with its castle ruins. We had a great stay at Anne&Sam‘s place. Wonderful hikes, great food in local restaurants in the surrounding areas. All in all a fantastic place for a trip if you enjoy hiking and spending time in the nature. Thanks a lot!
