Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Dar es Salam

We had a wonderful day at Allegra‘s home. The space is tastefully decorated and with all necessary bedding and kitchen utensils. The location is really central not too far from supermarkets, restaurants, the Peninsula and city Centre. Allegra was very responsive and proactive to provide solutions when necessary, and the security staff were also very friendly, helpful and ready to fix things. Overall we really enjoyed our stay there and would recommend the place to anybody looking for short term or long-term accommodation In Dar.

Our experience was pleasant, the apartment looked very nice and clean. We only stayed one night, but the experience was pleasant and comfortable, especially after a long day, getting to rest in that super comfortable bed, with the perfect temperature was simply fantastic.

Jackline’s property was marvelous, a very welcoming environment with a great view and close proximity restaurants and cafe’s always win! Goodluck in everything. Hope we cross path in the future. Thank you for hosting us. My family enjoyed your place a lot! PS: Safia was super helpful lady as well.

Mwaya's place is great for long term/ short term stays. It feels like home. The staff doesn't speak English, but they are all super friendly and very helpful, and with a little sign language and Google translate, we were able to communicate. Mwaya's place is also located a 3 minute walk away from a local juice bar, and is about a 15 minute taxi ride away from most popular restaurants. Mwaya is very responsive and always ready to help. There was however some issues with the power going out quite often, but this doesn't last long, as there is a generator that the staff turn on when this happens. All in all I had a very good stay, and would book here again in the future.

Beautiful place, I enjoyed staying here during my vacation with family. My boys enjoyed the ocean breeze from their bedroom window, the swimming pool and the quick access to the beach. Lars was always a text away to jump in when we needed instructions. Thank you! We will recommend to friends.

This studio apartment's one of the best features are its view and its location in Masaki among other things. It has a view overlooking green trees. The building is right next to the ocean but the apartment is at the back of the building on the fifth floor. You still get an ocean view of the farside of the peninsula (but not too close). One can walk to the Sea Cliff Hotel in 3-4 minutes which has great views. I strongly recommend there to visit there for coffee/drinks. It is safe to walk there even at night. A big supermarket is within 10 min walk. You can get BOLT or UBErr taxis/bajajis with a few minutes wait. The building has a nice pool and good enough gym (with up to 25 kg dumbells). Mohamed is a good host and responds quickly. The place looks like the pictures. It comes with cleaning twice a week.

Amazing apartment complex i enjoyed my time there, very family oriented and friendly. It’s near stores, restaurants, and a beautiful beach that I loved very much. The hosts are polite and friendly never had a complaint, I would highly recommend!!!

Tina was an amazing host, her place looks exacexactly like the pictures and in a very quiet neighborhood. She helped me alot showing me how to get around Tanzania and was very welcoming aswell.

Great place to stay while vacationing in Dar es Salaam. Easy check in and Care taker Malaki was always available for any question. Definitely I am recommending this place.

Exactly as described and showed in photos. The host was extremely welcoming and accommodating, even going out of his way to get groceries late in the day. A great place to stay if seeking tranquility, seclusion, but also safety. It is located in Kigamboni, so keep that in mind when booking. A few more staples like cooking oil and condiments would have been great, but almost every need was accounted for.

We loved staying at Gimstone's place. It's located in one of the safest neighborhoods in Dar es Salaam. We felt right at home right away. The building has great amenities, and it's a great community for children. It's also close to schools, beaches, malls, hospitals, and all things you need for a comfortable long term stay. We stayed for several months and loved our stay. Any issue we encountered was resolved once we brought it up. Will be staying here again when in Dar es Salaam.

I had a great stay that was only intended for 2 days, however I needed up extending it 3 more days because how great it was. Breakfast as part of the package is the first for me, I loved it. You can’t beat the hospitality of the host, I can’t say enough enough about the caring, communication and suggestion of things around the area I long to be back again.

We brought a large group to stay at Prisca's place for two weeks. Prisca was very communicative and extremely accommodating. She purchased additional mattresses, sheets, and towels for our group. She purchased a water dispenser for us when we requested one. There were some problems in the house during our stay (which is common in Tanzania), but her local staff were quick to help us. The house is massive and can accommodate a lot of people and has A/Cs and water heaters throughout. The kitchen is big but not particularly well stocked; we needed to buy a bunch of our own utensils in order to properly cook for so many people. The location is pretty far north of Dar, but it was worth it for the great price and Prisca's great service.

A lovely, relaxing place & we greatly enjoyed our stay! The staff was very helpful and provided everything we needed! The pool and landscaping is beautiful! We would definitely recommend! When the taxi they ordered to take us to the airport wasn’t able to haul all our things, Judith took us to the airport with her own vehicle so we could catch our flight!
