Location was ideally suited to drive by car to the nearest P+R to get from there anywhere comfortably to Hamburg and back home. And "home" is chosen here on purpose. We felt right at home. We felt completely comfortable at Jan and Janeta's place and we lacked nothing. The place itself was sparkling clean and fully corresponded to the impressions that could be gained in advance due to the existing pictures. The accommodation is quiet and there is plenty of parking available. At the same time, you can also reach the old town of Hamburg via the nearby public transport very quickly. I would also like to highlight the courteous communication of the host. We will be happy to come back.

Central and very peaceful location to explore the Lueneburger Heide by car. We watched a deer with its two baby deers eating in the garden! The apartment is spacious, which is great for rainy days. Communication, check-in, and check-out was very smooth.

We had a wonderfully relaxing vacation in this great apartment. Absolutely clean and very high quality furnishings. The hosts were always available and very helpful. Scenic location for walking but also for excursions in the area. We particularly liked Hitzacker and Lüneburg. If you love peace and untouched nature, you've come to the right place.

Everything was wonderful at Anna's. A nice, cute place to stay. The train station is close by and you can leave your car and be in Hamburg in less than half an hour. Anne was a friendly hostess and we didn't miss anything. Tip: there is a Nespresso coffee machine. Therefore, think directly about the necessary capsules 😉 We will be happy to come back again.

We stayed for one night from 05/26 to 05/27 in the accommodation in Salzhausen and were completely satisfied. The apartment was clean, well furnished and had everything we needed for our short stay. The uncomplicated check-in via a key box was especially practical, as we arrived very late. Everything went smoothly and as described. Clear recommendation – we'd come back anytime!

The accommodation has a very nice and fast-heating sauna, which you can also use spontaneously and without long planning. There is also a large quiet garden - perfect for reading and resting or for making a campfire. The proximity to Lübeck and Schwerin is great for a day trip. :) The only drawback is that it gets quite bright in the sleeping area, especially because a skylight is in the east direction. A way to darken the room would be desirable here. Otherwise, it should be mentioned that the surroundings with the lakes are really beautiful and you can also observe (wild) animals there very well. For this, the hosts Scarlett and Robert are also happy to lend you binoculars and give you tips.😊

This home was incredible! It is spacious, so well decorated, comfortable, and every detail was thought of. Our group loved relaxing in the garden, enjoying meals together in the spacious and well equipped kitchen, playing board games, and a day trip into Hamburg. Beautiful house, ideal for forest bathing. Well-kept property with nice details. The highlight is the barbecue hut with integrated sauna. Everything works as it should. Equipment all available to spend an extremely relaxing weekend. Is recommended.

Everything was very nice.

It was beautiful and quiet. The house and garden are furnished with attention to detail. There are other forest cottages all around, but you can't hear them. There are super nice paths for walking.

We have been two families, eight in total, who have stayed in "Alte Schule", and there was plenty of space. Everything was very neat and clean when we arrived, and overall the place was a perfect setting for some quiet days in a wonderful company! The place can only be recommended on our end!

We had a wonderful stay at this exceptionally beautifully furnished apartment. The apartment was clean and spacious. There was everything you need. The neighbors were very friendly and accommodating. The location is nice, but with a toddler not super central for activities. But the landlord can't do anything about that. The communication was excellent and we all had a nice time. The little garden was especially great. The decor is much nicer than in the pictures - a real eye-catcher and with so much attention to detail. Really great.

Super easy to get anywhere, only a 10-15 min uber/car ride to downtown, to nord hamburg, and to the central station. the apartment us gorgeous! super spacious, and very well decorated/furnished. Wish we could've stayed longer. the hosts were also super helpful responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. Would love to stay here again in the future.

the area is very quiet and idyllic. The place was clean and very well set up, especially the fully automatic coffee machine we found really good. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. As a group of 4, we can recommend the stay.

We were very happy to stay with you and had a nice time. The light in the morning and in the evening in the apartment is simply famos. We will be happy if we can stop by again and take a vacation there. Everything great and super nicely decorated, the bed was just a little too soft for us. The region is suitable for nature lovers, cranes fly over the apartment (September). What you need to know: there are no doors inside the apartment, so less privacy on the toilet. It wasn't a problem for us. We felt very comfortable. We did not take advantage of the offer of the campfire at all, but find it great that it is possible.

We were four for an extended weekend in the accommodation. Everything matched the photos and we particularly noticed the cleanliness. Likewise, everything you need is available in the kitchen and bathrooms. The quiet location was also positive, but you can quickly reach Schwerin city center on foot. We would definitely come back.

A beautiful apartment in an old farmhouse, perfectly prepared, everything works perfectly and is available. Large rooms with lots of light and air, well-equipped kitchen and also with beautiful decor. An enchanting garden surrounds the house, the terrace is beautiful - unfortunately it rained too much - and you are in the middle of the countryside. Lots of peace, birdsong, sometimes a horse snorts, but otherwise silence. We slept wonderfully! Which was also due to the good bed. For a vacation in the countryside - perfect! You just need a car, but that's obvious anyway.

We spent the Easter days at Frank's place with 5 adults. The apartment is spacious, sparkling clean and modern equipped with everything you need to live and the beds very comfortable. We really didn't miss anything. The location was fantastic for us, quietly located on the edge of a residential area overlooking the countryside (every morning we heard the green woodpecker in the garden), yet downtown Lüneburg was easily and quickly accessible. The communication with Frank was always extremely friendly and very service-oriented. He even "sent us" the Easter bunny:) We highly recommend the place and can imagine asking Frank again on a next visit to the area. An absolute recommendation and definitely worth the money!!!
