Cosy cottage with fantastic views over the Loch

I can't say enough wonderful things about Fiona's cottage. The location is amazing with beautiful views from multiple areas of the cottage. It was so peaceful to sit and enjoy the fire while it rained outside. Fiona gave us a tour of the hunting lodge and background information on the estate as well. She was incredibly responsive and so nice. I wish we didn't have to leave.

Uninterrupted sea views on NC500

Chandan KumarRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Can’t describe how beautiful the location is . The house is so beautiful and the view is breathtaking . We were welcomed by golden rays of sun and a rainbow . Sarah is the loveliest and warmest person I have ever met . She personally helped us know everything about the house. The kitchen is very well equipped. Kids room was so much fun with colourful lights , they had so much fun. Due to lack of time we couldn’t enjoy the hot tub and many more things like walking down the shore or the area. We just laid down and soaked in as much as we could. Overall this stay was amazing and definitely made our NC500 memorable.

The accommodation is very well located, Ronnie is very responsive and Rosie is really a lovely person, a real ray of sunshine. We slept very well! You can do everything on foot, SPAR, PUB/Restaurant and even breakfast in a very nice little restaurant "Thyme and Paice". A very good room to take a break on the road.

Cosy cottage in Ardgay

I booked on behalf of 2 workers who had a brilliant stay. Mel is a lovely host - so friendly and easy to communicate with, she really went above and beyond for the team. The cottage itself is the perfect home from home with everything you can need - also has great private parking and good Wifi for picking up emails etc. Thank you again Mel, we will 100% be back and recommend to anyone! :)

Kyle Cottage

The cottage is a very specious Home in beautiful surroundings. It is very well equipped, except we weren’t able to find the listed washing machine, but I think we would have gotten instructions, if we would’ve asked. Regarding the cleanliness, everything was alright on the surface, but there were some corners, which could use a deep clean. There was also some strange fishy smell, but that might have come from the visitors before us. Everything was very nice and we enjoyed our stay a lot!!

Seaside gypsy caravan retreat in the Highlands

LindsayRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Really cool place. The beach with tide pools is right across the street. The caravan is gorgeous and so cozy I slept great nested in the rich tapestries. The brand new bath a few steps across the yard is lovely and has everything you need including a fridge/freezer, snacks, artsy dishware… Emilie and Samir were very communicative and helpful, and I ended up needing help because I didn’t have a car. I thought there’d be buses from Tain up the peninsula but that didn’t end up being the case and the couple taxi drivers book out a day or two ahead of time. I ended up finding a private tour guide who picked me up, toured me around, and dropped me back in Inverness to catch a train back to Edinburgh. I was also able to hire Samir to take me on a tour of the peninsula, up to the lighthouse, around the Pict trail, and some other favorite views and historic spots. All in all this was a memorable stay I’ll always appreciate. Thanks Emilie and Samir!
