The cottage happily sleeps four but is perfect as a luxurious retreat for two. Location is amazing - Just a few minutes walk from the Market Hill, the Thoroughfare and glorious River Deben. We had a lovely stay at Pott’s Cottage. It is a lovely property with everything that you need for a short (or long stay). The cottage is tucked away in a small village so it’s perfect for a peaceful break but it’s also only minutes from the A12. Christina was a great host - the wine and shortbread was much appreciated. We will be back. Thank you. ☺️

We had a great stay in Paddock Barn, with the bonus of warm, sunny weather. Living in a market town, the peace of the rural setting was appreciated. There were a few minor issues which we mentioned to the owners who were quick to respond and willing to put right.

The Old Post Office is a real gem - perfect for a couple. It is beautifully appointed with lots of character. It has a new shower room and kitchen with everything we need. Karen provides a very generous welcome basket - with eggs, bacon, sausages, bread, butter, jam, milk, coffee, tea, juice and a bottle of Prosecco! We didn't have to worry about getting breakfast. Wickham Market itself is very picturesque with grocery shops open until late in the evening. It is a great base for Sutton Hoo, Woodbridge and Southwold - which we visited. There are also two pubs nearby - The Greyhound and the Crown - both of which have an excellent restaurant. Karen is very helpful. We accidently left our cool bag in the house and she offered to post it back to us. All in all, we highly recommend staying here.

Amanda was very welcoming and discrete as a host and her annex was very clean and thoughtfully created to make guests feel comfortable and at home. Woodbridge is a picturesque village and the location of the annex is just a 10’ walk away from its centre. We appreciated greatly have some snacks and drinks as we arrived late!

The spacious open-plan living area features high vaulted ceilings with exposed beams. Comfortable seating arrangements are positioned around a central coffee table. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow abundant natural light and offer views of the surrounding fields, enhancing the rustic charm of the space.
