Désirée was very responsive and welcomed us warmly with a very complete aperitif and breakfast basket (wine, fresh fruit, yogurt, cake, tea, coffee, etc.!) Her house is charming and atypical in a very quiet little village. She leaves a lot of things available: cooking utensils, basic cooking necessities, dishes, toiletries and care products, etc. The exterior is lovely: small cool and lovely courtyard. We were the only ones, the neighbors weren't present. Walk in the forest from the village on foot. The parking is 200m away but it's fine. A stopover for a very pleasant night, quiet but very close to all activities!

A beautiful apartment in a greatly renovated villa, in a perfect location full of history. The statue of San Carlo greets you once enjoying the view from the balconies, also a nice yard in front of the apartment. Easy to take trips across the Lago Maggiore area. The hosts were super helpful and replied really quickly. All in all a really good experience staying in one of the villa apartments (nr. 2).

We had a wonderful stay at Zainab and Paolo’s apartment! The place is beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped – it really feels like everything has been thought of to make guests feel at home. Traveling with our baby, we especially appreciated the extras like the travel crib and high chair, which made things much easier. The view from the balcony is stunning, and the peaceful surroundings were perfect for relaxing. Zainab and Paolo were responsive and generous hosts. We’d happily recommend this place and hope to return someday!
