The resort for nature lovers is located in the middle of the Southern Black Forest Biosphere Reserve. Above the cloud sea of the Rhine plain stands our beautiful forest house. Start your hikes right outside the door on the Westweg, or mountain bike tour through the Black Forest. Take the S-Bahn (8 min by car) in 30min. To Basel, France is 45 minutes away, Freiburg an hour. Feldberg is 45 minutes away. The Schweigmatt swimming pool is a club pool. You can purchase 4 uses for 20 euros.

House on the Albsteig - apartment with garden

Approx. 85 m² apartment, completely refurnished and renovated in 2020. The second bed is a folding bed that can be placed in the bedroom or living room. Directly in front of the living room there is a terrace, in addition a large garden can also be used. Directly on the hiking trail "Albsteig". Schluchsee, Titisee and Feldberg about 30-40 km away, border crossing to Switzerland about 7 km. Own car required, as there is no shopping facility in the village (about 4 km away).

We welcome you to our lovingly furnished apartment. The 36 m² can accommodate up to 3 people. An extra bedroom with a large bed offers plenty of privacy. There is a comfortable sofa bed in the living room. The apartment is fully equipped with a kitchen, 2 bathrooms and TV to feel comfortable. There is also an indoor swimming pool in the house, which is currently closed for renovation. You can park your vehicle directly at the house free of charge.

The complete core renovation in 2022 shows the approx. 70 sqm apartment in modern splendor. The separate entrance leads to the large living and dining area (+new sofa bed) with new kitchen. Due to the open room design, the hallway adjoins the living area and you enter the modern bathroom and 2 bedrooms. A terrace with barbecue facilities and free parking are in front of the apartment. Another approx. 70 sqm apartment is also available for rent.

Die ca. 30 m² große Wohnung befindet sich im 1. OG. Die Wohnung ist komplett möbliert, incl. Handtücher und Bettwäsche. In der Küche befinden sich eine Senseokaffeemaschine, Herd, Backofen Toaster und Microwelle. Die Küche ist funktionsfähig aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Neue Küche ist für 2026 vorgesehen. The heated Waldhauser Hof Fässle offers a unique overnight experience. The quiet retreat is designed for two people and has a cozy double bed, a seating area, storage space and a kitchen corner with a wash basin and refrigerator. Outside, a seating lounge invites you to relax. A dry separation toilet is located next to the barrel. Please note that there is no shower. Ideal for those who enjoy nature and want to relax!

Enjoy a break in the middle of the countryside between goats and forests in a secluded location. Start the day with a glass of fresh goat's milk and enjoy the fantastic view and watch our goats and feel the calming effect. Right outside your front door you can start your hikes through the fascinating Black Forest. Our well-known Rothaus brewery is worth a trip. It can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes.
