The Carlisle House is an amazing place to stay. Carolyn and Tim are so kind and considerate. The breakfasts are exceptional! There were so many special touches in the rooms that made our stay extra special. They were accommodating to our dietary needs and a space for a small family gathering. They were so generous and kind. We will definitely stay again!

Prashant and Anisha are wonderful hosts! The space is beyond gorgeous. We stayed in the bigger suite with another couple and it was so fun. They are also both incredible cooks and made breakfast for everyone that morning. The views and the garden area in the back are breathtaking. We are definitely coming back again.

Loved this place. If I’m ever in the area again I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here. Staff was super friendly, location was top notch, and the breakfast was delicious. Oh and the room was phenomenal.

Kevin and Robin were outstanding hosts in a beautiful and peaceful location. The room was great, the bed extremely comfortable and they made the entire stay an enjoyable experience that I would highly recommend. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in an Airbnb. We were made to feel like family.

We came here for my husbands birthday weekend, the place was exactly what we needed to unwind. If you stay I'd suggest at least 2 nights to really get to appreciate the place!

Robert was an amazing host. His house was just as described, and it was very interesting hearing all about the history of it from Robert. The space was much bigger than anticipated, and was very clean, nicely decorated and had more amenities than we anticipated. We were in Hershey for a Soccer tournament. Robert had bottled waters in a mini fridge for us and even offered us the use of a cooler. There was plenty of parking and the home had a beautiful yard and porch too! This 3 bedroom, 1 and 1/2 bath Air BnB was almost half the price of local hotels, with much more space and it felt like home. We would stay here again in an instant.

We stayed here for one night and it was lovely. Quiet and numerous spaces in the house and outside to relax, read, hang out. Olga greeted us at the front door and was very hospitable. There is a winery right next door that we visited after check-in. Olga had plenty recommendations of things to do/places to eat in the area as well. Would stay here again if in the area!

Upon our arrival, Jonathan and Yvonne were so welcoming. Our room was spacious and we had everything we needed. The breakfast was the best we have ever had at a B & B! The afternoon treats (pecan bars & cookies) were also amazing! The Inn is within walking distance to several shops & great restaurants. We will absolutely be returning!

Comfortable- staff was sweet! Breakfast had 3 choices made to order. Bacon was perfect! Will come back! Great venue for weddings!

The manor and grounds are beautiful. Every inch of the manor has been decorated and furnished with gorgeous antiques and period pieces. Great breakfast both days and Kate was a delight.

Naomi place was very nice. She has made a beautiful bed and breakfast in her home. Her home warm and inviting. She has themed room. Ours was the beach. Which was perfect for me. Naomi was very hospitality. She made breakfast in the morning with a refreshing home brewed tea. We had a delightful conversation with the other guest that happened to be from our area as well. If I’m in the area I would stay at Naomi’s again.

If you’re looking for a place to unwind then travel to The 1825 Inn. The sunny breakfast room is where we played games, had cups of tea, and had yummy breakfasts. The outside porch is our go to place to relax. It is a comfortable place to chat with family and to read. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. Another bonus to this fabulous place is the location which is close to Hershey and Mt. Greta.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Mooreland Garden Inn. My sister and I were on a college tour of Pennsylvania and decided to splurge to make our trek more enjoyable. Dawn was an incredible host and totally set the tone by calling in advance to ask about our timing, food preferences, and what our travels were for. We arrived in the middle of a horrible rainstorm and were met with a lovely tour, and followed up with snacks, wine, and chatting. Dawn gave lovely recommendations for visiting Carlisle, fed us incredible food, the bed and room were so lovely, and we honestly can't wait to visit again. If you want to sleep in a comfortable, clean, beautiful room, eat lovely food, and feel taken care of, don't hesitate to book a room here. You won't regret it.

We were a larger group and stayed at this lovely place. Place has character and made us feel special. Hosts were fabulous and anticipated anything we may need.

What an amazing place! Comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. Great breakfast! Slept SO well and I’m a terrible sleeper. Incredibly friendly hosts! Can’t wait to go back!

We really enjoyed staying at Russell’s place. Everything was absolutely beautiful. The area was serene and relaxing for our anniversary trip. This was the last minute decision that my husband and I made for the weekend. It did not disappoint-we had an amazing time! Russell was so nice and his two dogs were so cute and well behaved. We loved being in the pool, seeing the scenery, and the property was gorgeous

Very nice clean place to stay! Host was very nice and checked in with me to make sure everything was ok. I already booked a second stay with them.

My stay in the aquarium suite was wonderful. Very clean and comfortable bed. The room has central A/C and a very large private bathroom inside the suite. There is a coffee maker in the room with supplies right there including shampoo and soap. Dylan has a snack bar in the hall right outside the room in the hallway. He also had some breakfast bars, snacks, and indivdual juices in the fridge. He has other bedrooms for rent in the house, so ask him if you need other rooms. The outside gronds are wonderful. His eclectic style and artwork is seen throughout the many gardens and pool area. You can tell Dylan puts many ground-keeper hours in his place to make it beautiful without looking over groomed. It should be noted for anyone with mobility issues, that the outside areas are a bit uneven for walking around so you do need to be careful walking, Yet I really enjoyed that style of grounds. It makes for many Secret garden spots. Loved it.

Perfect location for me taking a course at Waterford Craft School and the hosts are so friendly and welcoming and generous.

This was our second stay at Bradley's and will not be out last. The house is filled with tasteful antiques and beautiful furnishings throughout. We stayed in the Eisenhower room which paid tribute to Ike with photographs on the wall and a couple of military items. There is parking beside the house on his property and it's about a 4 minute walk to many restaurants in town. Breakfast was compromised of cereal, yogurt, fruit, fruit bowl, packets of oatmeal, bagels, coffee, tea, juice and breakfast bars. The best part is his beautiful very large and incredibly laid back dog Cane (?) who greeted us upon our arrival. Made it feel like home.

Great value for a place to stay near Gettysburg. Also the bed and pillows were very comfortable. It’s a neat older home with character and quirks like creaking floors and stairs. The kitchen was well stocked and furnished. Since there are 5 or so rental rooms, the place shows some wear and common areas can get dirty sometimes, but with that many rental rooms, it’s to be expected. Things to note: 1. Shower struggles to get hot water, but faucets are boiling hot. 2. Internet connection was unreliable (but good cell phone coverage at house) 3. It can be noisy because across the highway is a place where semis stop to sleep and you can hear them. If you’re looking for a good value on a lower budget , this is a great rental.
