Tea, coffee and milk provided. It is important to note the bedroom is en-suite but with access through the main house.

We stayed for a weekend at this lovely, spacious property situated at the heart of the village. Lavender Barn was very comfortable, stylish and well equipped. There were lots of thoughtful extras and a welcome pack. The gardens are stunning. Conchita could not have been more helpful, with great communication. The village pub just across the road serves excellent pub food and well worth a visit. All bedrooms are en-suite which is so convenient and the barn is really characterful. We would have no hesitation in recommending Lavender Barn.

It was the perfect place for our trip. My friend, my dog and I felt at home in this cottage. There was a lot nice about it but there are some things that are more important to me so il mention those. The place was spotless, the owners made an effort to have small things like biscuits and milk to make our stay more comfortable, shower pressure was fantastic and the beds were really comfortable. The place is quiet so you get a good sleep to get ready for your hikes. Loved all the touristy info in the place which we really used! It was lovely to be able to bring our doggy! 🐶🐾🐾. Thanks for a lovey temporary home❤️

Had a great weekend in Dawn & Derek’s place. Clean & tidy but felt homely. Very quiet. Great views from the veranda. Dawn & Derek both very friendly, didn’t need their help while there but they made it clear when we arrived to just ask if we need anything. Beautiful walks straight out of the door or a 35 minute drive and you’re in the north parts of the Lake District. Will be returning.
