On a small fishing island

Get away from the traffic, leave your worries behind. Located on a traditional fishing island. If you are looking to experience a tradition way of life and explore the beautiful beach, eat and drink like the locals in the handful of bars and restaurants and watch the sunset, then culatra is perfect. Live is simple on culatra. There are no roads so no cars. Access to the island is by boat from olhão at 2 € per person per journey. Water taxi runs 24/ 7. Three small shops provide all essentials.

Era Mar originated from a rehabilitation project of a typical Algarvian old house, idealized and designed by the hostess. The layout of the house was maintained but the spaces were redesigned in order to make it comfortable, practical and functional. The decoration of the space was inspired by regional tradition and sustainability. The colors used in the decoration are reminiscent of the sea and the Ria, the rocky beaches and fine sand, sunrise and sunset on hot summer days.

A decorative wall features a light fixture with a floral design above a multi-colored sign. The sign includes the phrase 'The Beach is my HAPPY PLACE' arranged on wooden planks, with a starfish accent, adding a coastal theme to the room.

Such amazing hosts and a beautiful home with a sea and Mountain View. Pool and decor amazing. Definitely recommend

Accommodation in the heart of Faro, very convenient! Great welcome, clean space and matches photos. Shower, however, leaking outside in the bathroom. The shared kitchen is very large with lots of accessories available, and the option to eat on the common terrace which gives the accommodation extra charm. I would recommend this place if you are visiting Faro!

Very nice (and new) apartment, easy walking distance to the city center. Rather non-touristic neighborhood, two small cafes just outside. Sofia was super quick and helpful in the communications. When we had issues with noise from other apartments, she was quick and helpful to help & manage that. That said: there is some construction going on in the building right now (May 2025), if that bothers you, check with Sofia. But I assume this will be temporary and everything ready & quiet for the summer season. I also enjoyed the flexibility Sofia gave me with an early checkin and a late checkout. And her recommedations for tours and restaurants. Always happy to return!

Isabel was such a delight. We had to check in very late and she stayed up to check us in nonetheless. The property was very clean, modern and had all of the amenities. The parking was right in front of the property so it was quite easy. The rooftop infinity pool was very nice. And the town nearby was so cute. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!
