Our stay at this charming cabin in Benzonia was absolutely perfect and exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a true gem. The highlight was undoubtedly the private lake right in the backyard. It was incredibly well-maintained and offered a serene and picturesque setting for a truly quiet getaway. We spent hours enjoying the peaceful views and the sense of seclusion it provided. The cabin itself was impeccably clean and incredibly well-equipped with everything we could possibly need. It truly felt like a home away from home, allowing us to relax and unwind without a single worry. A special shout-out to the hosts, who were simply the sweetest and most helpful individuals. Their warmth and attentiveness made our stay even more enjoyable. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, testament to their thoughtful organization. Jason and Theresa's place is very welcoming, well stocked with the things we needed and communication was quick and easy. The warm floors were awesome and we appreciate the inviting feel of the downstairs. The gnomes out the back window were a fun touch. We were able to find everything we needed for cooking and really appreciate Jason arranging for a new microwave to be dropped off asap. Upstairs, the beds are very soft and they do sleep warm. The lake is quiet and calm and the property and trees are beautiful this time of year. We enjoyed our stay and the proximity to Traverse City and points surrounding was a big plus.

This place is amazing! Most of the windows and porch have views of the lake. It was so peaceful, calming, and quiet. We saw trumpeter swans and other birds, amazing stars, and beautiful sunrises/sunsets from the dock. It is very close to Sleeping Bear Dunes and other trails/sites. It was a bit off season and during the weekdays so not sure how private it would be during the summer - but we had the place to ourselves :-). The cabin is compact but cozy. The 2 bedrooms have full sized beds - great for 2 single people or a couple with maybe 1 kid. I can't imagine 2 couples staying there though due to thin walls and not a lot of storage.

Cozy Cabin was exactly that, including its great location. It fit our winter needs for our mini vacation perfectly with all that snow!! Lauri was pleasant to talk with as well!

Really loved this place! The view of the river from the deck was great, also a great view from inside. Well stocked with everything I needed. Hope to return someday!

Super cute and cozy cabin that was perfect for our group of 6 while we were in town for the Bayshore Marathon. We enjoyed our stay!

Jeff and Ashlee are both amazing. We felt so at home. The cabin was more than we hoped for. You feel like you’re sitting right on the beach from pretty much anywhere in the cabin. We started looking for availability for our next trip before we even left. We already miss the two Eagles and the mallard ducks! It was our 47th anniversary and staying in the fishbowl made it perfect. Don’t have one negative thing to say.

500 STARS! The beauty and peace was overwhelming. The cabin was SPOTLESS and decor was perfect! So many thoughtful touches that made this a wonderful experience. Plenty of towels, cozy linens and blankets, robes, 3 fire places/pits to stay warm, and a kitchen that has everything you need! Although...you'll want to stay out on the deck your entire stay because it is breathtaking! Tyler was very kind and patient with all of my questions...helping me navigate planning a trip to a new area (from Florida). We really loved coming back to this cabin at the end of each day's adventure because it was such a calming and gorgeous place. The view alone deserves 5 stars! White Birch Cabin has a special place in our heart and we hope to return. Thank you for sharing this lovely slice of heaven with us!

Fantastic host & properties. Well equipped with a lot of amenities. Spacious, luxurious, comfortable condo, with lots of privacy. Very responsive and clear hosts. Looked exactly like the photos. Would definitely come again

We loved the property of this cabin. It was beautiful and well maintained. The river was one of my favorite spots to read or have my morning coffee. There were many perks and amenities to this place that weren't listed online, like hammocks, campfire pokers, blow-dryer, yard games, fire pit, folding chairs, plastic storage containers, etc. And I loved all the buffalo plaid decor all around. The signs and decor were really nice too, So much to look at. My family had plenty of room inside the cabin to sleep and have their own space. There was also lots of outdoor seating and space outside on the property to come together for dinner or games. Nina was very responsive and gave clear instructions for entering and leaving the property. She was polite and made our stay pleasant. We would stay at this property again.

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin in the woods! The hot tub was perfect to relax and enjoy the nature around. We seen several deer on the property. The house was accommodating and had all the basics. We appreciated the firewood as the days and nights were chilly and we love to cook on the fire. Communication with the owners was easy with quick responses.

It was a wonderful experience. A nice place to get away and explore something new.

Nice cabin in the woods. Hot tub works but could use a new control panel. Inside is what we expected and more. Comfy beds. two fire pits outside. if you have small kids like us be aware there is a steep drop around one side and partly behind the cabin thats pretty close to fire pit. If i decide to stay near baldwin or go hunting the state game area i will deffinitly be back here. not the cleanist place but for the price im not even gonna conplain. wasnt terrible but could have been dusted and swept up a little more. i just grabbed the broom in the bathroom and used the shark vaccum on arrival and when we left. its not nasty dirty so dont take me the wrong way. for the price conpared to similar cabins and what we got out of it i feel its worth it by a long shot. Shelby has great communication. Thank you!

Our family absolutely loved staying at Clint's! The view was amazing! Everything was just perfect! Waking up to that view from the loft every morning was my favorite! 😍 There was plenty of room for 2 families to stay comfortably. Would love to stay again.

Our family enjoyed our stay! We were able to swim kayak, bonfires and grill all in one stay ! Driving distance to torch lake was extremely close. Village market was just 2 minutes from the cabin and wonderful just down the road. I would recommend a stay with Emily !

It was so peaceful!! We really needed a getaway and be away -lol- and Mr. Scott had us covered!! He is very polite, responsive and made us feel at home!! Definitely plan on coming back !! :) Mishlers drive in, Evart (15 min away ish), is a good place to go !!

We loved the cabin. Peaceful and relaxing. Stocked with everything we could have needed, even for our 4 legged friend. Cant wait to come back.

Isla Fern is an absolutely incredible stay, everything we were hoping for and MORE! The pictures truly do not do justice and after arriving I couldn’t believe how beautiful and peaceful it was. Everything that is there is curated down to the smallest detail, modern industrial meets boho chic, with a pantry full of necessities. It was really the cherry on top of such a memorable family vacation. We stayed for a week and we were in need of making sure we had an accesible situation for my father who traveled with us. Lisa and her crew were more than happy to accommodate and make our stay that much more comfortable and for that I am eternally grateful! We enjoyed the sauna and outdoor shower. We grilled delicious dinners on the back porch and my daughter fell in love with the rock climbing tree and upstairs kids space. The beds and linens were a sweet escape after spending long days hiking and kayaking. If we are ever in the sleeping bear area again we know where we’ll be staying!

We had such an incredible time staying in Roscommon at the Knotty Retreat. The location is perfect - very much a short peaceful walk to Higgins Lake. The cabin was amazingly cozy and had every amenity and detail you could imagine (even s’mores!). We had a wonderful time. A huge thank you to Carrie & Nicholas!

If you're looking for a nice place within walking distance to downtown Bellaire, this is it. I would stay again in the future.
