Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Croatia

We booked the apartment at Nikola's spontaneously upon arrival in Split as the airline moved us a day earlier than the flight. We arrived in the morning with the child and wanted to quickly check in. I contacted Nicola and he allowed us to check in earlier than expected. Nikola was very friendly with us. He met us, told us everything and gave us tips on where to go and where everything is. The sea is not far, 5 minutes by car. The apartment is clean and has everything you need. Even things like a dishwasher, air conditioning, fans, ironing board with iron, washing machine, capsule coffee machine with capsules. Cold water in a jug and a bottle of Rakia were prepared for us in the fridge. The balcony has a beautiful panoramic view. Nikola showed his daughter his turtles, who live in the backyard. It was very sweet. In the evening we sat on the balcony, enjoying the beautiful view, listening to the birds singing. We felt very cozy, as if we had come to visit friends. Recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at Robert’s apartment. He, and his mother, are extremely friendly and very helpful. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the bed (and pillows!) very comfortable. The apartment is a 25-30 minute to the old town but a flat and pleasant walk. Thank you for our stay Robert!

We absolutely loved this place! The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the old town, but the place itself is on a very quiet non-touristic street. There are also lots of restaurants, bakeries, and shops in walking distance - and indeed you can walk right out into the sea! The swimming area is really amazing, it's a slightly sheltered area so it felt really safe to swim there even when the sea was wavy. We also really liked the furniture and decor, it looks better in real life than in the photos. Everything was super clean as well. The view from the terrace is wonderful, and the view while swimming is amazing too. The terrace also has an awning so we were able to use it all day. Lana was an excellent host, we had the place to ourselves of course but she was super communicative before we arrived with information, instructions, and offering us advice. Everything was super clear and she was really friendly!

This apartment was perfect, one of nicest I’ve ever stayed in! It was beautiful, spotless and with the most incredible setting! Elma and Nives were both super helpful and responsive! The pool was also spotless and perfect for cooling off! The area is stunning! We hiked in the mountains behind and swam in the most beautiful sea I’ve ever seen! Stomarica was blissfully quiet and a lovely walk along the promenade to Brela! Cannot recommend enough!

Antonia made us feel at home right away. She spoke to us and treated us as though we were old family friends. Such a warm-hearted and generous individual. She made us feel as though our enjoyment and comfort were her utmost priority. When we thought we had an issue with one of the AC units, Antonia responded in under 10 minutes to help us fix it (turned out a previous tenant had accidentally reset the unit, and it worked just fine after utilizing Antonia’s instructions) I have nothing but effusive praise and gratitude to offer Antonia for welcoming my family so warmly to Dubrovnik. My hope is we’ll all get to return soon!

I had a great stay at Dario’s apartment, it’s in a very convenient location and you can walk right along the coastline. He was very friendly and helpful whenever I needed anything. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who’s planning to visit Split!

Great apartment option! The pictures correspond to reality. The whole complex is very modern and nicely designed. Communication with Paula (and her family) is more than easy. They are very nice, warm and very helpful. We felt very comfortable there. You live in a quiet neighborhood and can relax very well. The city is less than 10 minutes by car. Within 15 minutes walking you can reach a beautiful beach. If you need any help, the landlords help immediately and give useful tips on accessibility and further information. We are very happy that we stayed here and would love to come again. 10/10 great experience

Fantastic location on the water. We were greeted every morning by the bright blue sea and were able to swim a lap in this small private bay. The terrace of the apartment or the entire outdoor area were lovingly designed, perfect for relaxing in a quiet environment. We will be happy to come back!

Great accommodation with stunning views across the bay and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was something for everyone and the toys and trampoline were a bonus for our 2 young kids. Ivana is a fantastic host - great communication and she provided lots of very useful information about property and the surrounding areas.

We had a wonderful time in our Airbnb in Split. The area is beautiful, the villa is spacious and stylish, and there is plenty to do and see nearby. To get to the house, a car is really necessary as was clearly stated in the advertisement, so we were glad that we had arranged a rental car. Anka and her family were incredibly hospitable, always easily accessible and helped us excellently where necessary. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place!

Reception was very nice with a welcome gift. The communication with Miro (contact person) was easy and you got quick feedback. Also very helpful with problems. Overall, a very successful vacation/stay and definitely recommended!

Maja's house is in a very nice location, on a hillside overlooking the sea, the islands of Hvar and Brac and mountains. We were traveling with the dog and could take many beautiful hikes from the house. The house is well furnished and the icing on the cake is the huge pool, where you can enjoy the magnificent sunsets. Maja welcomed us warmly and was always available for questions.

5 of use stayed at Borna’s place in split for 3 days and had a wonderful time. The house is cosy with a beautiful view of the bay, located in the national park it is peaceful and refreshing. Borna was very friendly and helpful, check in & out was super easy and I would highly recommend this house to anyone considering! Hope to come back again soon.

Damir was a fantastic host, he went beyond our expections, taking us to a local restaurant until we were able to check in and then picking us up. The whole family loved Villa Tissa, with its pristine pool and gardens, we also loved having our separate apartments which were all tastefully decorated. The views from the villa were stunning and we enjoyed the local feel of Kastel Luksic. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we really hope to visit again.
