Scenically situated overlooking the water, our peaceful 2 bedroom cabin is located directly on the waters of the Johnson Falls Flowage. Perfect for nature lovers who love the quiet calm of the north woods. Kayak, fish or sit by the water right from the cabin shores. We are close to numerous State & County Parks, Boat launches, ATV/Snowmobile trails & more! The fire pit provides endless entertainment. Nature abounds with deer, turkeys, eagles, bears and much more!
“This cabin is the perfect peaceful getaway to escape the hustle and bustle of city life! You’re surrounded by a serene nature setting that’s mostly seen in paintings by Thomas Kinkade with a stillness only found where life slows down and minutes begin to feel like hours. Everything you need to feel at home is at your fingertips. It’s easy to begin to feel so comfortable that for a split second ... you might forget it’s not actually home. Although the slow cell service could be seen as a limitation it is the exact necessary tool needed when you want to escape technology and the fast-paced high-demand world that goes with it. However if you need to get connected - there’s places within minutes that will allow you to hop back into reality if needed. There are beautiful waterfalls nearby if you want to stroll through the picturesque scene around you and find a little inspiration. Erin has wonderful hospitality etiquette and was readily available to answer any questions you may have before, during, and even after your stay. You won’t be disappointed! We are adding this cozy gem to our list of return visits for future writing retreats.”

“Such a fun little place. We had a bonfire going the whole time. We really enjoyed the yard. Everything was clean. If you drive down to the end of the road there’s a beautiful lake with a boat landing so if you have time definitely go there and take the kayaks out if you can or fish from the pier or hike the trail that goes around it.”
