Cabin vacation rentals in Crawford County

Excellent stay at this Airbnb. If you are thinking of coming to St Helen to ride the ORV trails, this is an excellent choice! It’s right down the street from St Helen Motorsports, two gas stations, 3 restaurants, 2 pizza shops and multiple trail head entrances within 2 miles or less!!! The house looks exactly like the pictures and description, and the hot tub, outdoor fire pit, and indoor fireplace were amazing! I will note….it is a bit on the small side. Beds are as described, but feet hang off the bed and rooms are small. 4 grown adults was pushing it here, especially with one bathroom. Also note. There is BARELY enough room for a small truck and trailer to park in front. The other truck had to park underneath the large garage due to no park space. Other than that, which is really just an explanation, it is the ultimate st Helen stop!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. So many things to do for everyone (2adults,2kids&the dog). We fished, relaxed in the hot tub, made s’mores in the fire pit. We played at the lodge on the cold rainy Friday, it was incredible (don’t forget to bring towels). The cabin was nicely located on top of a hill. You could see the water from the front yard and the few neighbors we saw were very friendly and welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked and the washer and dryer made things so easy for us to clean up. Doreen and John were very quick to get back to us with any questions. The little air conditioner and individual heaters were perfect for this time of the year. The lakes were beautiful and filled with fish. The boys had a blast. We can’t wait to come back when it’s a bit warmer. We will definitely use their place’s again, looking at one on the water for our next trip. 10/10

My husband spent two nights at this wonderful cabin and so enjoyed our time there! We ate at the boat house for lunch one day and walked the Wolf Creek Trailhead another, but other than that we enjoyed being at the cabin! The backyard was incredibly serene! We read and talked for hours around the bonfire until dark and then hit the hot tub both nights! What a wonderful space to get away and reconnect as a couple! I would absolutely suggest it as a couples get away! ❤️

This was the perfect location to explore Northern Michigan. It was so close to many places we wanted to visit. The resort itself had so many amenities. We loved the pools and the beautiful neighborhoods. I highly recommend it because it’s a peaceful landing spot after a day of exploring the breathtaking region.

This house was great! It truly had everything you needed and then some! We never know what to expect when we stay at an Airbnb and this was fantastic.

Had a great stay at Chase's cabin! Everything well well stocked and clean. Decorated super adorable. Master bed was very comfy to sleep in! The neighborhood that this cabin in was very cool. We we're hoping that it still felt secluded and private. It did. It rained/misted about the entire time of our trip, so we didn't get to use the outdoor amenities as much as we hoped, but the hot tub was nice and clean and the firepit was so cool! Only thing to note that we didn't care for as much is that the back camera was pointed too closely to the hot tub for our liking. I understand the reasoning, but if you're conscious about that, keep it in mind. It didn't stop us, though! We were up the to hit the trails in the Jeep, and the area is great for that! You're close to a lot! We had no problem being out 6 hours a day, never hitting the same place twice. Thanks for a great stay, Chase! We have stayed at quite a few places on AirBnB and you really do have a gem in the mix. Don't sleep on this!!!

We loved our stay at Wildwood Lodge! The property is on a barely traveled road and feels secluded (only one neighbor is visible but it does not impede on enjoying any of the hang out areas). The house was really well appointed with amenities (towels, kitchen gadgets/utensils) and was kept very clean. Loved the oversized couch to hang out on and then front porch for morning coffee. The small front fenced in area was perfect for our pups. We will definitely be back!

This Airbnb was beautiful and you can tell the owners put a lot of time and effort into making it a special oasis. The hot tub and projector screen in the living room were our personal favorites to wind down during a long day. Stephanie was very responsive and friendly as well with any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely secluded cottage. We will definitely stay again in the future. Loved the binder full of things to do and restaurant recommendations.

We loved our winter stay in the cabin. It was warm, cozy and had what we needed after xc skiing all day.

My family and I had a really great experience staying at Uncle Tom's Cabin in Grayling, Michigan. It was a good balance between privacy, waterfront access, and having fun in the game room. We would all like to return sometime in the near future. A couple of recommendations to management: the well water stains in the bathroom sink and toilets needs to be addressed, the water pressure was also very low in the bathrooms, including the shower. Adding a third bathroom would be great especially with larger group of 10 people. Also, the communication with True North needs to improve, it feels impersonal when we aren't getting responses to specific questions, but only receive auto generated ones. Overall, looking forward to returning to Uncle Tom's :)

The listing was just as described, except better! Being able to listen to the waves was incredibly relaxing. We found ourselves ditching our plans to go to restaurants because it was so enjoyable to make dinner and stay in. We had our dogs with us and we always appreciate a listing that allows us to bring them. But a cabin like this definitely made us want to make sure it was like our pups had never been there (we love our lint rollers). This place was like a time capsule to the 50s/60s, with beautiful French doors that lead right to the lake. It’s been well taken care of over the decades and it shows. We mountain biked the nearby Hanson Hills trails and took the pups to the Ausable River to play. Grayling is wonderful, so thank you to Tim and Gail for letting us stay

Review for Rustic Secluded Airbnb Cabin #4 We had an incredible experience staying at this rustic, secluded cabin! Cabin #4 is a true hidden gem, offering the perfect blend of comfort and nature. The two-bedroom layout is cozy and thoughtfully designed, with a fully equipped kitchen and a small dining area that made meal times easy and convenient. Additionally, the cabin is equipped with - wifi, heat, hot water. Basically it has everything one needs for a comfortable stay. The real highlight for us was the sunroom, which opens up to a serene view of the river creek just beyond the cabin—such a peaceful and calming spot to unwind with a cup of coffee in the morning or enjoy the sounds of nature in the evening. If you’re looking for a quiet, off-the-grid experience to reconnect with nature without sacrificing comfort, Cabin #4 is the place to be. My family enjoyed the night we stayed. Our host, Jen was always available and prompt to help. Will come back for sure.

Really nice place to stay. Very quiet, peaceful, and pretty. Great view of the Au Sable both from the house and dock. Big farm table that easily sits eight and was fantastic for playing board games on. Rochelle offered a great variety of amenities to choose from-too many to list. She had a nice work desk with a keyboard and monitor in the walkout basement with a view of the river if you need to work remotely. She has a nice selection of linens/blankets. Beds were extremely comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/dishes etc. I know many people love their coffee in the morning-she had a regular coffee pot and what appeared to be a Breville espresso maker (we don’t drink coffee so I’m not an expert on the fancier machines 😂). Although we didn’t bring our dog, the place was dog friendly. Short jaunt to Hartwick Pines. About 25 minutes to get to a town if you are looking for a selection of restaurants or shopping. Great stay, would recommend! Hope to be back 🙂

I stayed here a couple of nights ago on my way to the upper peninsula, I needed a place to crash on my way home and due to how comfortable I was the first night I looked and this was available for my trip home so I booked it at the last minute again. Great place! Nice quiet and peaceful! I look forward to hopefully renting on my trips in the future.

Ken was a wonderful host! He was extremely communicative, helpful and responsive. The rental was extremely clean and I felt right at home. Will definitely stay here again.

Brian’s home away from home is cozy and just far enough away From the busy city. It is spacious and accommodates several people. It is close to fishing, kayaking, and trails. He even allowed our treasured dog to come with us which saved us the trouble of boarding our dog. If you want a place that brings you to nature’s corner this home will fulfill that.

We loved our stay! It is a great location, but there is a lot to do just on the property. It is a very clean and spacious home.

By far the most beautiful cabin we have ever stayed at. We are so grateful we found this place and can’t wait to go back! It was so peaceful and relaxing. Jeff and Beth were great hosts.

We had a great time at the cabin: the four of us were in Michigan to find Kirtland's Warblers and we knew we picked the right place when the signs for Kirtland's Warbler managed habitat were posted on the road leading up to the cabin! The kitchen was quite capable of feeding the four of us, and the beds were quite comfortable. Reasonably close to the UP, which was perfect for our day trip north, and at a fair price I highly recommend!

This is a great place to stay for the people looking to ride ORV. We rode over 300 miles while there. Tons of 50” and tons of forest roads. We brought quads and sxs. Would book again in a heart beat.

This place was perfect, very peaceful yet close enough to the highway that made an easy commute to where I needed to go . Overall fantastic place and very easy to locate , short walk to the water to watch the sunset was an added bonus. Thank you again !
