La Fortezza is a villa surrounded by greenery and the absolute quiet of its private park, among centuries-old olive trees, a grove of oaks and an orchard. It is located on a hill, just 6 km from the crystal clear sea of Polignano a Mare (BLUE FLAG SINCE 2008 and 5 LEGAMBIENTE SAILS) with its wonderful sea caves to discover by boat. The villa is made exclusively of stone, wood and glass, on two levels, and is characterized by the presence of one hectare of park, a large panoramic terrace overlooking the sea, and a solarium. Inside the park, to stay in perfect shape during your vacation at La Fortezza, a fully equipped gym is available to guests (free of charge) with an elliptical, bench and dumbbells, punching bag and gloves, and total body workout equipment. The wood-burning oven and barbecue are available for guests to prepare and enjoy pizzas, focaccias and outdoor grills. The panoramic terrace, from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of the expanse of olive trees, white farms, sky and sea, is about 40 square meters and is furnished with a large dining table in the shade of three holm oaks that "emerge" from the garden below: the wooden floor was built respecting the presence of the trees through the creation of the slots in correspondence with the trunks. Inside the park of La Fortezza you will find flowers and scents and many corners of paradise: rock seats where you can sit to read a book or listen to music, wooden sunbeds to sunbathe and enjoy the sunset breeze. So far, we've stayed in nearly 20 Airbnb stays, but Carmen's house was outstanding, just wonderful. It is located in a very good and peaceful place surrounded by an olive grove, the interior of the house is especially beautiful, much nicer than the pictures. Carmen was the nicest, most welcoming host we've ever had. We had an inconvenience in Bari and Carmen gave us maximum help, acted like we were family and divorced. If someone is looking for a really good place in this neighborhood, I wholeheartedly recommend Carmen's house.

This small traditional "house" is located in the heart of the old town, a few steps in the alleys and you leave the hustle and bustle for this small quiet and very pleasant corner. The beach is 2 steps away... Madia took care to share her good addresses for foccacia or breakfast delights. Thanks again to her for this beautiful stay.

We stayed a week and the house is incredible, with the sea view, balconies, roof terrace and rooftop. Walking distance from everywhere. Jacqueline was nice and very helpful, gave us plenty of good tips. Lots of steps and tiny bathrooms but we loved them too.

Spent a wonderful fortnight at this charming authentic townhouse. The roof terrace with a sea view is a real bonus and an ideal spot for relaxing and drinking some of the fabulous local wine. The location couldn’t be better. It’s on a quiet pedestrianised road 5 minutes walk from Ostuni’s main piazza. There is a decent supermarket (Despar) about a 12 minute walk away and a fruit and veg shop 2 minutes down the road. There is no end of incredible restaurants in walking distance, my favourites being Taverna della Gelosia and Borgo Antico. Mine was partly a working holiday and the WiFi at the house was fast and reliable. The house is clean, comfortable and secure. The bathroom is particularly high standard and has a large walk in power shower. The kitchenette is small but serviceable. The number of steps property (and Ostuni itself) may not be ideal for young children or those with mobility issues. Luisa and Stefano are excellent responsive hosts. I’ve already rebooked for next year.

The “trulli” house of Valeria was fantastic. So beautiful, over equiped ( nothing missed to us, we had even more than we could spared. Even milk, breakfast food , sugar, salt, oil, vinager …. For free). The rooms, the house and the exterior was big and so beautiful). The place is close from all the touristic place!!! We were really happy and satisfied by our stay at Valeria s house. Everything was impeccable, beautifully decorated, extremely neat. Olenka was a thoughtful host (yes, it's nice to have water for her stay, a small package of pasta and enough to have breakfast the morning of her arrival; and it's nice to have a little message in the middle of the stay to see if everything is going well and if you need anything).
