Thanks very much Melanie and Steve! Your property is so lush and beautiful as well as your pool and front apartment we stayed in thank you. We felt at home there and could have stayed longer quite easily. There was a slight pet smell in the lounge room we noticed. We loved the stay, your friendliness and even giving us extra mozzie coils when we needed them! :-) We will be sure to keep you in mind if we are in Howard springs again. Thanks again.

The Pavilion

SarahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Catherine's unit was the perfect base for my two week stay in Darwin. It was close to the local shops and importantly uni. As a single female traveller I appreciated the safety of having people nearby in the house while also having my own space and privacy. The unit is perfectly built for the tropical Darwin climate. I loved that it was cool and comfortable in the heat without having to blast the aircon. Catherine and her family are amazing hosts. They are all friendly and helpful.

Mia is a joyful delight, very generous & Welcoming Host. The Air Bnb Flat actually felt like a cool tropical oasis in the Darwin 'build up ' & it had everything we needed & felt homely for the near 2 weeks stay. The Flat is a large private 1 bedroom building separate but close to the main house & their outdoor living space. Older style decor, yet well appointed & functional space to live in for a long stays inc a fantastic new Washing machine. Felt comfortable & safe plus in an ideal location close to the hospital & airport, shopping centre. We Appreciated Mia's attentiveness, all the healthy food she shared & care during our convalescence stay. Thank-u Mia! Highly Recommended.

The Bastia Inn

CynthiaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Well Bec and Dave’s place was amazing! Beyond the photo description! Clean, comfortable, well appointed, lovely pool, did I mention quiet!! It’s only a one bedroom but lovely living area and well appointed bathroom.. and because you have 2 nice areas to look out into garden or personal courtyard space it feels spacious. Bec and Dave went out of their way to make our stay the perfect one it was. Our daughter and young grandchildren were able to come and swim in the pool. We went to the Wildlife Park and was txt chatting to Bec about it. She said watch out for midges.. next morning as we left early there was a bottle of insect repellent on our door step! The staples left in the cupboards was a welcome start to our pantry and Bec even provided my favourite soy milk on our arrival. Would we recommend this place! We sure would! Would we stay again.. yes yes yes!!!

Tropical Calm

PhilRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The accomodation was great, the location is perfect for visiting the nature reserves in the area: Foggy Dam, Howard Springs Reserve, Charles Darwin Reserve etc. It was a perfect choice for a wildlife photographic holiday. The cottage was well equiped, modern and clean. The veranda looking out onto a beautiful tropical garden was an unexpected pleasure. Abigail was a wonderful host. All the essentials were provided for the stay, even including some free range eggs. This will be my first choice for any future trips to the area. Thank you Abi.

Tropical Temira

If I could give 6 stars to Kathleen, I would. Her apartment was absolutely stunning, with a super comfy bed, lots of amenities (shampoo, body lotion, information booklet, local leaflets, TV, radio) with a beautiful pool in wonderful surroundings. The neighbourhood was so tranquil, within walking distance of everywhere we needed to be, including the city centre. This is the best Air BnB we’ve stayed at: Kathleen was so hospitable and kind, even loaning me some wildlife guidebooks to read! Thank you so much Kathleen. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. A home away from home. Perfect.

Casuarina Garden Studio

NathanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A bright comfortable well appointed space. The hosts managed to balance a fine line of being attentive to any needs or queries I had and giving me space to feel free to use the amenities available on site. The host took the time to leave some breakfast and gourmet items in the fridge as the late arrivals common to Darwin means you are waking up on your 1st morning there without having had a chance to get something for breakfast. Extremely thoughtful and was greatly appreciated.

A home away from home

JulieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I moved to Darwin for work and was staying for a month. Thalia’s is a great location as it was 15 mins from where I work and everything else, including Darwin, Mindil Beach & other local attractions is only 10-15 mins away. Staying under someone’s family home was daunting at first. I barely knew they were there. The space is generous in size and really comfortable. Everything I needed was available. Thalia is an amazing host, answering all communication really quickly. If I needed to again, I would happily stay again.

Girraween Rural Retreat Gorgeous Lagoon Pool

SandyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
This is a real gem! There is an overwhelming feeling of peace and well-being in this place, so quiet and relaxing. David and Sue are the best hosts you could hope for, always up for a chat, yet respecting of your privacy at all times. Blaze and Honey, the pet dingoes, are extremely gentle and kind-natured and a joy to be around. The natural garden surrounding the retreat is stunning and the resort style pool is just gorgeous, only a short walk from the retreat through the garden. The retreat is extremely well presented, modern, clean, tidy and like a home away from home with everything you could possibly need. A massive verandah along the side of the whole retreat with a big daybed means that you can lie and read a good book while watching a thunderstorm roll through if you happen to be lucky enough to experience one on your stay. This is the second time that we have stayed here (both were at least one week stays), and we can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend!
