Spa Garden Cottage - Upper Hopton

TerriRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved staying at Scarlett’s place. We had everything we needed and everything was so easy to use. Very responsive host and great for letting us know that the place was ready an hour early! Hot tub was nice and warm with great location and privacy. We went to travellers rest (10 min walk) and the food was so nice and big portion sizes for the price. We even went back later on for the Wednesday night quiz night! Overall great place and would definitely stay again. Thank you

Luxury cottage - river views, balcony and hot tub

EmilyRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
What a wonderful place for a peaceful break away. The house was so comfortable with all the amenities needed. The hot tub was a lovely addition too! My son, who loves wildlife photography, absolutely adored the river. He spent every possible moment down there photographing Kingfishers! I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves birds and wildlife.

The Old Middle School Addingham

TaraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved our mini break at Lorraine's place. The cottage is beautifully decorated throughout and very homely, the garden feels very private, even with houses all around. Addingham is a lovely village with great pubs serving delicious food, it is also perfectly located for exploring West/North Yorkshire. Highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic little cottage, so quaint. Hot tub was amazing and easy to use. The bed was comfy, was just a wonderful place to spend my birthday weekend. It was easy to get to all the local attractions and the pubs in the village were lovely and the locals so friendly. We will definitely be back

Lakeside Barn w/ fantastic views & Hot-Tub

KarenRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We arrived on the Friday for a 3 night stay. The Barn is in a beautiful place inside and out. The Hot Tub was lovely on an evening and the patio fire was great to sit around for drinks early evening watching the Sun go down. Casterton village is only a couple of miles from Kirkby Lonsdale. The village its self had a gorgeous pub 7 mins walk from the Barn which had a great range of food and served Sourdough pizza on Sunday evening after 1700hrs with a lovely warm atmosphere and open fires. There is a great taxi service and some fabulous restaurants near to the Barn. The Black Bull and the Highwayman were fabulous. (We did go to Number 9 also and it was not somewhere I could recommend, service and food really poor.) Patrick and Anika were great responsive hosts and this is a do not miss property, that offers every you need for a fabulous stay. Our little group loved it. Thank you Karen, Denise and Naomi

If you’re looking to get away from city life then this place is a gem. Fantastic setting and so relaxing. Hot tub was a perfect size not too small, you do have a friendly chicken that follows you around now and again. The property is so clean and homely. Can’t wait to stay again 😊

Cottage & Pool House Yorkshire Dales Littondale

ClaireRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We have just returned from a few nights away staying at this little piece of paradise. If you’re after a tranquil, relaxing holiday then this is the place to stay. From the house itself, to the spectacular views , the amazing pool house and the lovely, friendly neighbours, this place ticks all the boxes and more. Highly recommend visiting The Queens Arms for a meal (or just a cheeky drink), the staff are so friendly and just made our time away extra special. Malham is only a 20 min (ish) drive away and is stunning (a must see). The only thing I would advise is to make sure you take plenty of supplies (or do an online shop for delivery as we did) as the local shop is a 20min drive away. Thankyou again David, we will definitely be back.

Perfect location! Perfect hosts! We couldn’t have asked for anything more and would recommend and/or return in a heartbeat. Sally and David were an absolute delight from the moment we booked and so easy to communicate with and super quick to respond. The cottage itself is in a perfect location and so quiet and peaceful, and had everything we needed for a home from home stay. The basket of welcome goodies was so appreciated too! We would thoroughly recommend the place, and if we ever return to the area we would most definitely stay again. Thanks Sally and David!!

High Mill Skipton

JulieRating, 5 stars5 days ago
High Mill cottage was easy to find thanks to Nick's clear instructions. It is a narrow one car wide access however the road is private and very quiet. We never met another car coming the opposite way in 7 days. The cottage is in a quiet location adjacent to the beautiful Skipton woods and less than 10 minutes walk into town via the stream bridge. We stayed with our dog and the property is perfectly dog friendly and spacious with practical wooden floors throughout. Found the property neat and clean with all the essentials we needed in the kitchen to cook too. We had a takeaway one evening delivered to us with ease from the town, although there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Co-host Mary was always friendly and helpful with any questions we had before arrival and responded promptly too. Plenty of fresh clean towels on hand and a nice clean bathroom. It is small compared to the size of the cottage but perfectly adequate nonetheless. Overall a great stay for us, thank you.

I loved my stay at Nic's place and it was the perfect base for a few days of walking in Calderdale. The kitchen was well stocked with basics and the living area itself had character and a wonderful bookshelf. Nic was also quick to act when I had an issue with the WiFi. I would happily visit again!

‘The Hideaway’ amidst the Nidderdale Hills

GillRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We absolutely loved The Hideaway and wished we'd been able to stay for more than one night. Louise was so friendly and helpful, and although we didn't get to meet, we had everything we wanted and quick help when we messaged her with questions about where to eat etc. The Hideaway is immaculately clean and so stylish. The bed was super comfy and the shower fantastic. The kitchen was spotless and well stocked with utensils and crockery and Louise had kindly left us fresh eggs (from her gorgeous free ranging chickens, who came to say hello as we arrived), fresh milk and bread and a bakery treat each. It's a light, bright and welcoming apartment with beautiful views over Nidderdale. We had complete privacy and even a little garden space with picnic table and fabulous view. We were delighted to wake to the gentle calls of the curlews in nearby fields and we felt truly 'on holiday'. The sad part was leaving .. we really hope to be back soon and to explore this amazing part of Yorkshire

It was a great place for an extended weekend. Karen & Dave were amazing hosts and made our stay even more pleasant. When we arrived there was a great welcome pack that included bread, eggs , some crisps, a pack of epic biscuits, and some butter and milk in the fridge and the best touch of all a lovely bottle of white wine. The field behind the house was perfect and our 2 collies, Odin & Storm loved it. All in all a perfect property and hosts !!!

The Writers Cottage - Intriguing & Romantic

JulieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
It's a lovely cottage, quaint and old-fashioned with nice, comfy beds, and Heath was a charming and helpful host. I found the steps down to the garden very steep and had to carry my two elderly dogs down. I also hadn't realized that it wasn't enclosed either, so the dogs couldn't be left (my fault, I should have asked). I was woken very early with the light coming through the blinds, but I mentioned that to Heath, so that may have been remedied. Overall though, it's a great place to stay, with the centre only a few minutes walk away There was plenty to do in the area with lots of restaurants to choose from (we liked Harveys). We did a nice circular walk (the first part was quite steep on the road, Hill Lane) through the countryside to the Royal Oak at Upperthong and then back through the woods. Although the pub itself didn't open until 4, the cafe was open, doing very nice snacks and very friendly personnel. The churchyard is also worth a visit for fans of Last of the Summer Wine.
