The Byre - Cosy countryside cottage in Lupton

‘The Byre’ A rural cosy bolthole situated on Farleton Knott which is located 5 miles from the M6 and nestled nicely between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, ideal for walking the nearby fells or enjoying the local town of Kirkby Lonsdale with its array of local shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, ice cream parlour and Booths supermarket. The Byre is situated next door to our family home a listed barn conversion dated 1730. We started renovating in November 2019 when it was a derelict farm.

Hingabarn, a unique place in a unique location

A traditional barn, set on the slopes of Whernside, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this truly is a secluded spot. Located at the end of a narrow track, it is surrounded by woodland, fields and two streams. The open plan, rustic style suits couples, small groups and some families, and is ideal as a base for outdoor activities. A peaceful dog-friendly rural retreat with walks on your doorstep, exclusive use of the garden, charcoal BBQ, pizza oven, and a wood-fired hot tub to relax in.

Hilderstone Stable

Nestling in a quiet rural setting Hilderstone Stable was converted recently into a contemporary high quality 2 bed cottage. 5 mins north of J35 M6. This cottage is ideally located for exploring the Lake District, Arnside/Silverdale AONB, Leighton Moss and Yorkshire Dales. The settlement of Hilderstone can be traced back to the 13th century. The barn was built originally in c1750. There is still a working farm as part of the 200 acre Hilderstone Farm. A great base for outdoor activities.

Just a few hundred metres from Ruskins View, the Cottage is moments from the delightful shops, restaurants and coffee shops of this popular market town on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Cosy and comfortable, the Cottage is the perfect base from which to explore the Lune Valley or make easy day trips into the Dales or Lake District National Parks.

Close by are picturesque strolls along the river, and walks into the hills are literally just up the road. A great base for the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales .

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. Situated in a most unique location, high on the Ribble Valley side of Lancashire’s iconic Pendle Hill, it sits surrounded by sheep pastures where hare and fox come to say good-night. Despite this rural idyll, we’re only a five minute car drive from Clitheroe, one of the North-West’s nicest market towns. The views will take your breath away!
