Striking Tipperary Farmhouse

PeterRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is a very spacious, yet homely place. There is room to share family times, but you are able to find your own space to read and reflect inside and out. If you like the natural world there is plenty to see: nesting swallows, a hare, loads of trees, fish. It super peaceful . The host is generous in sharing what is in house which is really helpful when coming from outside Ireland. Many, many thanks and we hope to return. We love this part of the world and is an ideal location to explore Tipperary and its surroundings.

The Dairy

we had a brilliant stay at collette's place. we walked into a lovely old-school-feel cottage and were greeted with a very personal welcome basket. the place is small but worked great for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. it's conected to the main house but in a week there we never crossed paths with the owners, so a lack of privacy isn't an issue. as regards the accommodation the shower was great, the kitchen had everything you need, the place was spotless and best of all we were just 5k from the greenway in kilmacthomas. the village is lovely and has some great looped walks, bike rental, nice pubs, places to get food and a great centra. if you're interested in exploring the greenway or the local Comeragh mountains this is a great location to base yourself.

Blath Cottage

We opted to stay out of the bustle of Dublin for the peaceful vistas of Fethard and Selina ‘s AirBnB. So glad we did. Parking by the door. Phew! Well appointed kitchen/dining looking out onto lawn and flowered garden. Ample bedroom and closet space. Hot shower. An attentive host who, although called away for family health reasons, wrote a personalised card with important info for our arrival. She joined us later. A modern, comfortable AirBnB hosted by really nice people. This is a good one.
A well-lit bedroom features large windows allowing natural light to fill the space. A spacious bed is dressed in a patterned coverlet, while a small side table and chair are present. A flat-screen TV is mounted on the wall, providing entertainment options.

Tranquil Log Cabin in the Comeragh Mountains (1/2)

DenisRating, 5 stars4 days ago
What an absolute gem of a place. It ticked all the boxes for our stay, quiet, rural, close enough to the local town if required, amazing location, views and hiking right on the doorstep and the amenities were brilliant. The hosts even went the extra mile by supplying the cabin with the quirky extras that you would find at a top class location. The little things like the food they leave for their guests, the ability to light the outdoor stove and the supply's to light it with and showering items shows that these guys have got it spot on when hosting a place to stay. Thank you Madeline and Joe for a relaxing and memorable stay. Will definitely use you again when having another hiking weekend in the lovely Comeraghs.

Lodge 2

We had a lovely stay with Colette in one of her lodges recently. The place was cosy, warm and felt very homely. Colette came to meet us when we arrived as I had said our little boy was afraid of dogs. She even left us some of her own hens eggs which were delicious for breakfast the next morning. We would highly recommend staying here and look forward to going back.
