Striking Tipperary Farmhouse

PeterRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is a very spacious, yet homely place. There is room to share family times, but you are able to find your own space to read and reflect inside and out. If you like the natural world there is plenty to see: nesting swallows, a hare, loads of trees, fish. It super peaceful . The host is generous in sharing what is in house which is really helpful when coming from outside Ireland. Many, many thanks and we hope to return. We love this part of the world and is an ideal location to explore Tipperary and its surroundings.

Secluded Magical Lakeside Escape

We had an amazing stay at Rose Cottage! We went as a group of 6 for my stepdads 70th birthday and we couldn't recommend this place enough! The hosts were so friendly and the place was incredible! They had many recommendations and we would definitely come back again in the future. Piper's Inn near by has the best seafood chowder we've had in all of Ireland so far, and the cottage itself was so quaint and lovely! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay in the Irish countryside!

It's on-farm location was peaceful & relaxing; we loved watching the house martin's every morning feeding their chicks in the nest in the eaves of the house. Paula & Dennis were really friendly & helpful, with lots of local knowledge, and quick to respond to any questions we had. We had a wonderful stay.

The Hill Cottage

SarahRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We really enjoyed our stay at this place. It was fairly easy to get to using Google maps and getting checked in was also very easy. Brian was very flexible with our arrival time which was great because we arrived later than initially expected. The bar next door was very cosy and had traditional music while we were there. The bar is right next door but you could not hear a thing from inside the cabin. We did not attempt to use the part fire place (it was warm when we were there). The place does smell like smoke, but it added to the charm of the location.

Fantastic place to stay!! Very peaceful, quiet and relaxing. We didn’t need to contact Tom and Muireann while we stayed here, everything was as expected. On arrival we were greeted with wine, breads, cheese and cold meats, delicious!! The house was comfortably warm and we had fresh dressing gowns and slippers ready for the outdoor jacuzzi. The place was spotless and we have found a hidden gem that we will be back to frequently over the coming years. Thanks to Tom and Muireann for allowing us to stay at their wonderful house over the weekend and we look forward to going back.

Fab House & Hot Tub. Art Days. Dog Friendly

EmmaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
If you have a chance to stay with Frances you are so lucky. One of the nicest hosts I’ve met through AirBnB. The house was perfect and spotless. Homemade baked goodies were to die for on arrival. The fire was lighting, the heat was on and the house was so cosy and warm. Beautiful and quiet location in the countryside. We booked Prosecco Painting and it did not disappoint. The snacks and Prosecco was flowing and the 4 of us now see ourselves as budding artists. The hot tub in the evening to relax topped it all off. All the locals we met on a walk were so friendly and helpful. The beds were so comfy. A home away from home. We will definitely cross paths with Frances again. She is just amazing!!!!

Hidden Hearts Hottub Haven

Sarah and Barry were excellent hosts. We booked for 2 nights and had the hot tub for ourselves the first night. It was fun lighting the fire and keeping it going while the night fell. On the 2nd night we booked the sauna and plunge pools with outdoors shower. So relaxing going from one to another over 2hrs. My wife booked a facial treatment with Sarah on the morning we were leaving and found it brilliant and relaxing. Thanks to Sarah and Barry for a lovely stay.
