Kid-friendly vacation rentals in County Mayo

We had a lovely stay at Juli’s House. Donal is an excellent host, friendly and helpful. The house is really peaceful and lots to enjoy in the area and good places to eat in Westport. We will definitely return.

The cottage was very comfortable, very well equipped and great to have en suite bedrooms. On arrival, we were so grateful for the milk, butter, soda bread and jam to have with a cuppa. The wine was an unexpected bonus!! Newport was a great location for us to investigate Achill Island and the surrounding area. The Centro shop just over the bridge is very well stocked. There's a nice walk around the harbour road and back to the village with great sunsets. Despite being next to the pub and road, there was no noise. The pub had live music on our last night which was great. The Museum of Country Life is worth a visit and is free! Communication with Lourda was excellent. I would definitely recommend Waterfront Cottage and like to come back to Newport.

Adorable Irish cottage with everything you could ask for and more. If the weather allows you can enjoy your meals outside having a great view of the mountains on Achill Island. Great location to explore county Mayo. Super friendly and responsive hosts ☺️

Great stay at Rest Easky, great base to explore the Wild Atlantic Way, lovely quiet village with everything you need - groceries, cafe, pub, butchers, pottery shop. The interior was lovely, the bed was very comfortable, kitchen had everything required. Would stay here again when coming back to Easky!

Husband, myself and 2 sons had a fabulous stay. The house was beautiful; even better than the pictures. It sits high up a country road with fantastic views. It’s off the beaten path but it only adds to its appeal. The furnishings, kitchen/baths,beds are all high quality and comfortable. Marion and the property manager,Patricia were helpful with all the needed info from start to end. I hope to come back and stay again. In

Órla's cabin on the outskirts of the village is a little gem. Beautiful views of the inlet. Nice, covered veranda to take in the scenery. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans and utensils. Electric shower, plenty of hot water and strong flow. Bedroom is spacious with lots of storage. Bed itslef is very comfortable. WiFi is solid. TV in the living room has HDMI if you want to cast/firestick/roku. We really enjoyed the array of books, ranging from fact, local lore, easy fiction,kids, culinary, sci-fi etc. Órla left very clear instructions as to access, wifi, local amenities etc Ideal space if you're looking to explore the island and come back to a cosy, secluded haven.

Highly recommend this beautiful house Lorna and Dave were fantastic hosts. The cleanest house we have ever stayed in. Our grandson had a great time with a full play room of toys and plenty of space to play outside. A wonderful stay. We would love to return.

Marian is so lovely. She is truly a wonderful host. She warmly greats you upon arrival and even baked us banana bread for our stay. Marian recommended some lovely local spots to visit. I highly recommend Downpatrick head which is about an hour from Marian’s place. The BNB itself is great. Very clean, cozy while being spacious, and warm. The views are beautiful and lots of cute sheep 🐑 nearby. If you’re going to be in the area, Marian’s place is a wonderful place to stay.

We enjoyed our 5 night stay at Marie's very much! Could have stayed longer. Everything was clean, the beds very comfortable. It's a little ways outside of Westport so it's a perfect combination of quiet and peaceful but still with plenty to do close by. We spent lots of time in the living room just enjoying the amazing view. Kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. Hopefully we can stay again one day!

When I think of a warm welcome to Ireland, Eileen's place comes right to mind. The home is so beautiful and kept so clean! Eileen is VERY wonderful, friendly, welcoming, and kind. And the views from her home are just breath taking! Absolutely LOVED that horses were just right there in the backyard Thank you Eileen for an absolutely unforgettable stay!

We just can't say enough good things about Jenna's place and Westport in general. The flat is spacious, the kitchen is very well-equipped for cooking, and the location couldn't be any more central. Everything we needed was supplied and obviously great thought went into preparing the flat to be extremely comfortable. Jenna had lots of information on the local attractions, plus the helpful tourist office is just around the corner. Easy walking distance to all Westport has to offer. What can I say, it is a wonderful property, the views are spectacular. Very comfortable bed. Mary was so warm and welcoming, made us feel right at home. We enjoyed sitting looking out at the wonderful view, seeing the lights across Lough Corrib, I’m sure that image will stay with us for a very long time. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Olivia hat uns am Tag vor der Anreise Bilder vom Haus und genaue Erklärungen geschickt, wie wir das Haus finden, wo die Schlüsselbox ist und so. Als wir ankamen waren wir vom ersten Moment an total begeistert von der Wohnung, sie war genau wie beschrieben eingerichtet. Sehr schön, Küche, Bad und Schlafzimmer sind zufälligerweise genau wie unser Einrichtungsstil zuhause gewesen. Das hat uns sofort ein „Zuhause-Gefühl“ gegeben. Die Wohnung war überdurchschnittlich gut ausgestattet. Es gab mehrere Sorten Tee, Duschgele, Shampoo, Conditioner - Handseife von Rituals, es gab adapterstecker & Haarspray, zusätzlich eine schöne kuschelige Wolldecke. Olivia haben wir am Tag der Abreise persönlich kennen lernen dürfen und haben ein sehr sympathisches und angenehmes Gespräch mit ihr geführt. Wir würden die Wohnung und Olivia als Vermieterin jederzeit empfehlen. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen.

This place looked just like the pictures - actually it was bigger than we expected!! Beautiful location, super clean. Full kitchen was perfect for any kind of cooking we wanted to do. Absolutely lovely and would return!!

My stay at Myra's was wonderful!! The apartment is exactly as described and had everything I needed during my week long visit. I loved the location which was an easy short walk to town and with a grocery store just a few minutes away. Myra and her family were wonderful hosts of who made me feel at home. I highly recommend their place!!

Would highly recommend Patrick’s apartment. It is large, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Very comfy beds. Check-out and check-in were very easy, and Patrick was very helpful and welcoming. The apartment is a great base to explore Westport and the surrounding area.

The perfect location to everything in Westport. Very comfortable spot for family of 6. Instant communication, Finian made checkin/out simple. Highly recommend!

Super gelegen im Zentrum, einfacher Check-in, saubere, gut ausgestattete Wohnung. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt! ein Couchtisch würde die Einrichtung noch abrunden.

Danny's condo is very well laid out and the trails to walk along from his garden were amazing, a particular hit for our two dachshunds running up the hills with us. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a nice cozy base for exploring the area and will be back when we are next in the area.

Michelle's place was absolutely fabulous! We stayed for two nights. When we first arrived the place was warm and smelt lovely. There was fresh scones with butter and jam on arrival which is always a nice touch. The place itself was very clean and cosy, absolutely perfect for us. It was well equipped with everything we needed and more. The bed was super comfy too. The location was absolutely ideal, less than a five minute drive into the town and was nice and peaceful. Michelle was very attentive and made sure everything was okay for our stay. I would highly reccomend to stay here and if I'm ever back in Clifden again I'll definitely return here!

The owner was brilliant communicate with, every instruction to get in and how to get around was very good, we had a group and it was seem less!! We will definitely be back to this location as part of our yearly trip! Thanks for everything!

Catherine’s apartment is very well located, just a 5 min drive or 30 min walk from Westport city center. The quay is beautiful as it is next to the lake and the park. If you are driving be mindful that the parking is a bit difficult. Apart from that highly recommend it if you are visiting Westport

This accommodation is a lovely old house right on a small harbour in the middle of nowhere and walking to Cong is about 30 minutes, so you should have a car. The accommodation is large, with enough space and two bathrooms, nice seating areas and everything you need. The decor may be a bit old-fashioned, but it fits the charm of the house. Would stay here again at any time. Contact with Annette and Simon was always uncomplicated and nice.
