Isolated shoreline cottage with outstanding views

LionelRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Dave's cottage was cozy and very peaceful, with a wonderful view of the sea and a nicely isolated setting. We enjoyed the fireplace every night. Dave provided clear instructions to access the cottage and was very helpful throughout our stay. We also appreciated the sheep grazing around the cottage. We definitely recommend this place!

The cottage is more than well equipped for a family stay, everything we needed was there. The cottage is beautiful, very cosy, homely and beautifully decorated, the beds are very comfortable and we all enjoyed our stay. We definitely intend to return.

Murrevagh Mealóg

MareikeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Ciara's little house is quiet and has a nice little garden. The best thing is the location: Close to the beach (just a couple of minutes walk) and to beautiful Achill's Island and Ballycroy National Park. Ciara was very easy to communicate with and arrange check-in details. The house might be a bit small for four people but worked well with three.

Fab Location - Annex of Beach House Aughris Sligo

FionaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lovely peaceful location. Asked sheila beforehand if basics would b there on arrival and sure enough there was tea, coffee, pint of milk and packet of biscuits We arrived half hour early and sheila had just arrived to clean house after the previous tenant so we went for walk on thebeautiful beach and house was ready when we arrived back. Super comfy bed. So peaceful day and night. Tenants in main house were very quiet. Beach bar less than 10 mins walk was very good value - should book ahead if dining there. We didn't use cooking facilities in house so cannot comment in that regard. Overall loved our stay and would be very happy to re book. Sheila was quick to respond to any queries before we arrived. We put bed linen on to wash before we left but as there was only one washing pod we didn't put on the 2 towels as didn't want to overload washing machine. Would recommend

We had such a lovely stay at Mary’s home. It’s right in the middle of town so you were never more than a 5 min walk to anything you needed. It was a comfortable space, with enough beds for all our needs and a cozy living room for us to hang out. Would absolutely come back.

Greenfort Cottage

TanyaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Margaret’s place was lovely, very private we did drive 20 to 30 minutes for dinner but the drive is beautiful and worth it. We did get some groceries to have lunch at the cottage and had intention-for breakfast at the cottage as well but most sights we wanted to see were at least an hour or 2 aways, we tried several local cafes and they did not disappoint. Highly recommend the Greenfort cottage.

3rd year in a row we've stayed. It really is an unbeatable place with great views, so close to the beach and everything is in walking distance. If you do want to adventure then there are many attractions within 50km. The house is immaculate with amazing carpets to walk on that makes it so cosy to stay in.

Emlagh Beach Cottage, an oceanview to remember

AlisonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The location of this house is absolutely phenomenal - right on the beach with views from the house directly onto Emlagh beach and the bay. House is surrounded by nature, animals and perfect for sea swimming, walking and enjoying the great Connemara outdoors. The house has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Beds are comfortable. The decor is a little tired. Regardless we had a wonderful time and would love to come back! Thanks for a great stay.

Dolphin Beach Country House, Clifden, Co. Galway

SusanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I would highly recommend Dolphin Beach House as the perfect location for a large family or multi family vacation. Six large bedroom each en-suite was ideal for our family of 12. There were also living spaces both outside and in to suit all weathers. The kitchen was industrial standard as fitting a former bed and breakfast; so was a pleasure to use. The views were outstanding and the peace and quiet were priceless. We had the best vacation enjoying time at the house and great hikes (recommend Diamond Hill) within 30mins. Clifden is also a cute town with lovely small shops and restaurants (Walsh's bakery for coffee and Guys for carry out pizza).

Dolphin Beach Lodge

ZeeshanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We have stayed at many places in Ireland over last few years but Dolphin Beach Lodge has become our favourite place so far. The house is beautiful and so clean with everything you might need for your stay or more. The location is brilliant with breathtaking views and its own private beach. We got very lucky with the weather and even spotted a couple of very playful dolphins on our last morning here. Clodagh is one of the best hosts we have stayed with who even allowed us to check in early and check out late to make the most of the weather. We have already started to plan our next stay.

Overlooking Enniscrone Beach and Atlantic Ocean

EvaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Cosy paradise with breathtaking views I could write an essay on how much I loved my stay here. While the house is absolutely stunning, beautifully decorated and really spacious, the star of the show is the view - WOW. Sitting on the big comfy chair with a good book and a glass of Prosecco is what dreams are made of. So breathtaking. The house is directly across the road from the beautiful 5km beach and a few mins walk from kids activities and shops and restaurants. The bedroom on the top floor is likely the one you will all be fighting for. En-suite, stunning view and even has its own little dressing room. I couldn’t recommend this place more. We loved it so much we extended our trip by 2 nights. As lovely as the pictures are - they absolutely do not capture how fabulous this house is and how spectacular the views are.

We loved this house, a superb family destination, our 4 kids loved the up stairs play area. The down stairs was wonderfully set up for family meal times. The location is excellent, the kids got a few days of surf school and we saw a good bit of Sligo and got some great tips on what to do from the hosts.
