Unique & enchanting cave house

More Hobbit than Batman (no parking), this little cave house is built into the limestone cliff above the beautiful Provençal village of Cotignac. One of the most enchanting properties in the area, it has a garden with roses, palms, cacti and oleander. Panoramic view of the village. Parking nearby but the property has no vehicle access, only steep narrow path. This is the owner’s painting studio - easel available. Eagle owls nest above - no late parties/loud music. Fitness required

The house consists of a total of 5 floors, there are therefore many stairs in the house. The house is 150 years old and each floor has been added after time. This is a very typical Provencal house with much charm, in a quiet neighbourhood. The house is fully equipped and when you rent we prepare the beds and give you towels. New windows and aircondition is to help your stay and internet of course. Parking is next to the cooperative, a minute walk from the house.
