A great stay in a beautiful setting! The accommodation was very quiet, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The environment is very peaceful, with impressive biodiversity. The host was very welcoming and warm, which made the experience even more enjoyable. A great place to rest in the heart of nature. I highly recommend it!

We had the pleasure of staying in one of Meg and Mark’s gîtes with our 2 teenage daughters for 4 nights. I had no hesitation in booking the gite having seen how beautiful it looked on the website and reading the glowing reviews both on the website and on Airbnb. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Meg and Mark who showed us around the gîte and the grounds. The gîte itself is just beautiful. It is absolutely spotless and exceptionally well equipped. The beds were super comfortable made even better by the high quality bedding. The grounds and gardens are very well kept and the pool is stunning with great views of the surrounding countryside - it was a big hit as was the hot tub in our private garden! To top it off, Meg and Mark are the most fantastic warm, friendly and welcoming hosts but always respectful of our privacy. Thank you Meg and Mark for a truly memorable few days and for your fantastic hospitality. Chez Lussaud is an absolute gem and is a credit to you!

We had chosen Aude's apartment for its proximity to the highway, without any noise inconvenience, the environment is very quiet. We arrived later than expected, around 10pm but were hosted very well! The listing matched the photos, easy to find, and Aude was very responsive. The umbrella bed had already been mounted. In short, a quick and relaxing stopover on the holiday route! Thank you again

Wow, that's the first word that comes to mind! Florian is very friendly and always available. Every detail of the accommodation has been carefully thought out, nothing is left to chance. Even though the weather wasn't great, we fully enjoyed the amenities. We will come back without hesitation! This place is great for a weekend getaway.

we were driving to our holiday in spain and only stayed 1 night but we loved it. swimming pool was a bonus, didn't use the spa but it looked so good. we want to come back for a few days and make use of the facilities and explore the area. a very friendly host who is professional, and very warm and likeable. would definitely recommend it to others. just to note, the bedroom is downstairs, I was a little worried it was upstairs at the mezzanine level with the bathroom downstairs but when we arrived the bedroom and bathroom were downstairs. loved it.

We had a wonderful stay at Jacqueline's. The place was just perfect for recharging your batteries. We were able to fully enjoy the surrounding woods and beautiful landscape. The place was very clean, decorated with lots of charm, and most importantly, the atmosphere was incredibly peaceful. This is a perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature. We had a very pleasant stay at this beautiful house on the banks of the Dordogne. The location is ideal, the environment quiet and peaceful, in close proximity to Saint Emilion, Libourne, and many castles and vineyards. The house is superb, very comfortable, perfectly equipped, and faithful to the listing in every way. Pimprenelle and her family took great care of us, and gave us great tips for visits or good restaurants that we enjoyed. We recommend 100%!

We had a great stay at this house. It is spacious and very well furnished, nicely furnished and it is pleasant to stay there. The garden is beautiful and we enjoyed it, the covered terrace allows you to eat outside even when it rains. The host is very friendly and accommodating.

We came to spend a family weekend at Iulia and Alistair's and what can I say? Their house is a haven of peace: the terrace, the animals, the river, the small touches… Everything was perfect! 🌞 We only had a small hot water problem but it was fixed very quickly thanks to Iulia's availability! Thanks again! We'll definitely come back to spend some nice days here!

The house has all the necessary amenities, the cleanliness is impeccable and the location of the house has a stunning view. The area has many possibilities for sightseeing and nature walks. Arantxa was very nice and was always available for our questions and showed flexibility at check-in time. We'll save it to favorites and look forward to returning soon

Very quiet cottage, very beautiful setting in the countryside, I highly recommend it!

The moulin is a very original and comfortable accomodation. the ground floor is the moulin at the first and second floors is the living areas. the three bedrooms are very well fitted and so are the two bathrooms. the kitchen is well equipped. there is also a living room and a balcony. the stay has been very enjoyable overall. the real highlight in terms of activities is the Charente river where you can swim and kayak / canoe in season. the only downsides of our stay have been: the kitchen was not super clean (fridge, glasses, oven etc); the village has absolutely nothing: no stores, no cafes, no restaurant you need to drive to the next door village for everything (7 mins each way); the terrace is nice but has no sunlight in case you want to sunbathe... overall i would go back in the nice season.

A PERFECT stay! Before we arrived, Alexis took the time to communicate with us, validate the different points of attention and give us all the information for a serene arrival. When we arrive & during our stay, only good surprises, everything is as described and our expectations: the neighborhood is quiet, easy to access and parking, the garden is cozy and maintained, the house is clean/ tidy/ no smells/ decorated with great taste and personality, the beach and the city center a few steps away, Alexis takes care even from afar! BIG PLUS when traveling with a baby (it may make you laugh, but we've had complicated experiences in the two previous rentals!): the crib is offered by Alexis, with a real mattress. No squeaky doors and hardwood floors and even less ventilation making a loud noise, the house is really very quiet. There is a real children's room closed by a door and with a shutter.

This is a really lovely cottage in amongst the vines, and a wonderful pool, terrace, bbq... It was extremely hot for the first few days (over 38 degrees) and although the cottage wasn't air-conditioned, it was cool and there were plenty of fans. Emma was extremely helpful and suggested lots of local restaurants and activities which were all great. The cottage was well supplied with everything we needed - good for cooking, and I read from (and donated to) the great little library of books provided. The unexpected bonus was that her TV could access UK BBC live and we watched a LOT of the Olympics with UK commentary! Such a lovely holiday, thank you.

Nice little apartment, really very well equipped, quietly located. On the terrace you can sit comfortably in the evening, in front of the river there is also a nice sitting area to enjoy the sunset. In the living room there is a guest bed, this is more suitable for children, with the weight of an adult it sags too much and is not so comfortable. But since we planned it as a bed for the children anyway, it was sufficient for us. Eric and his wife were very nice and warm. The area offers the possibility of many wine tastings, it is not far to Bordeaux and there is also a lot to explore in the area.

We had a lovely stay at Laurence's place. The house is very comfortable and well-equipped. The location is ideal, close to the beach and forest. Laurence welcomed us with kindness, we would recommend this home to everyone.

We had a wonderful stay here. Lovely pool and bbq were the cherry on the cake! The hosts were lovely and we really felt at home. Would definitely visit again!

A beautiful gite in very peaceful location. Was extremely handy for the wedding we attended in the chateau just 5 minutes walk away. Lovely pool. We really enjoyed sitting on the terrace for a quiet drink. Lovely family time. Thank you so much Emmanuelle.
