Wonderful place with fantastic views. Very near Mértola, a great town to visit and with amazing restaurants.

We enjoyed a very relaxing and easy 7 days at Marie's house. The place is stunning, even more so than the pictures, and the effort that has gone into maintaining it is evident. Marie was always responsive when we had any questions either about the house or the local area, and waited to meet us after our late night flight, so we wouldn't miss the turning for the house. Getting into Tavira is super easy, the only consideration is that the driveway of the house is long and very bumpy. You don't need a 4x4 or anything, but it was a bit of a surprise the first time we got there! Would very much recommend this place and the local area. Merci, Marie!

We had a great stay with my parents. The garden is very beautiful. The main house is very spacious and is very well equipped. We have young children and they loved all of the toys available.

This place was amazing and Carmen was there to help us during the entire stay. Amazing heated pool and the beer machine was of great help.

An authentic stay in a very peaceful and secluded setting. Good value for money. Some things could do with updating in time (kitchen, utensils etc), but can't complain considering the very reasonable price. The pool was lovely and outdoor space was perfect. It was our first time in Portugal and we didn't mind travelling to beaches etc from the location as we were able to enjoy the rural countryside and quiet roads. If you like a peaceful, quiet retreat then this is a great place to stay.

What a slice of heaven on the outskirts of Faro. A beautiful garden, stunning views and lovely terrace for us to sit and enjoy the beautiful sunny weather. A true hidden gem, they also serve the most unreal breakfast with fresh ingredients sourced locally and from their own garden. Alex & Monique gave us the best recommendations, from restaurants to more private beaches. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful weekend at Ateliê. The house is brand new, very well organized, decorated and equipped. The mattress and cushions are excellent. The location is super quiet and close to spectacular beaches. José was always quick and very friendly to answer our questions. The place is ideally located with a short walk to the old town and river. We would highly recommend and hope to visit again and get to stay in this beautiful little house.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Vale do Lobo and would like to thank Caroline for her help with arranging the stay. The apartment is exactly as per the photos and it was clean on arrival with all amenities listed. The bottle of water after arriving from the airport was appreciated. The location is very good a few minutes walk from Maria’s and Julia’s at the beach however it is a bit too far to reach the plaça without using an Uber or having a hire car. The resort and locality has everything you need from shops bars and restaurants to activities and the weather was great. We would definitely stay here again.

In our travels through Portugal, this was absolutely the best place we stayed. Marcio’s place is very spacious, very clean, and has the feeling of being in a real home. There is a large outdoor patio where we enjoyed hanging out. And even though we were in a central location, the apartment was peaceful and quiet. Marcio was very easy to communicate with, and even when we locked ourselves out of the apartment, he was extremely kind and helpful. I can’t recommend this place enough. It was fabulous!!

We had a very nice week as a family of three in Casa Regina, Apartment 2. We were able to sit comfortably on the large terrace. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need. We were able to use the pool and garden nicely. Washing machine great. Andrew and his mother Lurdes were very responsive and communicative. In case of problems with the shower, they responded quickly and there were cookies and wine as a small compensation. When booking, Andrew also points out that it is a quiet residential unit. It is actually important to consider this, as the apartments are quite close to each other. Apartment 3 adjoins the large bedroom and, depending on the neighbors, it can also be a bit noisy. You can also always hear the street, but at night it is relatively quiet and also at the pool it is idyllic. It should also be mentioned that the entrance from apartment 1 leads to the terrace of apartment 2. We had very nice neighbors, so it wasn't disturbing for us.

We had a fantastic stay at Fatima's beautiful property. It exceeded our expectations, offering privacy, stunning peaceful surroundings, ample facilities on site and easy access to surrounding beaches and towns. Our children spent much of their time in the swimming pools, but our highlight was the amazing farm kitchen where we collected coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice and warm baked bread every morning along with a variety of fruits from the farm surrounding the property. Fatima and her team were exceptional hosts. Considerate, helpful and quick to respond. We were welcomed as old friends and given a guided tour on arrival, then left with space and privacy. Any questions that arose were answered quickly, we were even offered fresh cakes one morning! We would return in a heartbeat, thank you so much Fatima!

Looks exactly like the pictures. The place provided towels, beach towels, detergent for washing machine, cutlery etc. Everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Location is a short walk away from a lot of food options, train/bus Place was very clean when we arrived and checking in was quick and easy. Overall great stay!

This apartmnet was excellent and very well located for all the golf course we played at. Also very close to the beaches and restaurant which were only 5 to 10 minutes’ drive away, overall excellent accommodation

Very good stay at Alvaro and Isabel's. The accommodation is very clean and tidy and tastefully decorated. We felt great there. Very close to the center of Faro and its pedestrian streets. Possible to do anything on foot. Very good communication with Alvaro, whom I regret not meeting, or his parents. Too bad... But I recommend this spacious, bright accommodation in a quiet area. Great service from Tamsin when we had to return home due to family bereavement. Have stayed in the past, no car needed central for all Tavira restaurants.

We four friends had a very nice time in this fantastic house and found exactly what we were looking for: sunrise, sunset, a view of the vastness of the mountains, absolute peace... The pool was my joy despite my injured leg! The house is furnished with great attention to detail, which also contributed to our relaxation! Thank you also for the friendly and helpful contact! After our vacation in Madeira was canceled due to a forest fire, we never thought we would find such beautiful accommodation at the last minute. We would love to come back!

Amazing experience in this villa. The Host was exceptional always there to respond and take care of things and it shows that he cares about the place. I would recommend this to anyone. Place was clean and cozy. In a very private development. If I ever get a chance will book it again. I already forwarded to few friends in London to have that experience. Thanks Mr Helder. Madalena was a fabulous host, really friendly and always a quick response to my messages.. a stunning location, the photos really don't do it justice. We stayed for 4 nights, enjoying walking to nearby Loule. A supermarket just 5 mins walk away and a cafe. Would not hesitate to go back, thank you so much Madalena

we had an amazing stay at Casa Semaphore. the house is beautiful and so well equipped we didn't want for anything. the provision of a daily cleaner was great for the basics and it was lovely to have our beds made every day. The house is up quite a steep access road which limited some of our party being able to go for a walk from the villa but we had cars so that wasn't a massive issue for us. the outdoor dining area provided space to eat and socialise on an evening enjoying the incredible views and amazing sunsets. The pool was a bit chilly but understandable for the time of year. we still managed to get in it plenty! overall an amazing experience. ❤️

The villa was absolutely beautiful. The garden and the pool are beautifully situated around the house - and the garden was all in bloom when we were there (April). A lovely communal area as well as very lovely rooms. The master bedroom in particular is stunning, with a gorgeous balcony. Floyd was incredibly helpful, especially in making sure we knew how to get there as it can be a bit hard to find at first. We had an amazing time staying at Leaf Mountain - thanks so much!

Wonderful house, with lots of space for outdoors activities, close to Loule where there are there is lots of wonderful restaurants and culture. We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend!

We came as 3 families for the week and the villa was beyond our expectations. It was huge, beautiful and perfect for our group. Denis was helpful and responsive. You need a car to stay ideally. But supermarket was a short drive away as was faro and Loule. The house had everything we needed and more, beautiful views, lovely house and pool. The children (and adults!) cannot wait to return. The place is even better than the photos! Cannot wait to return!
